Hotel Marinaro

Hotel Marinaro was my first lodging during my first visit to Sardinia. It was perfect for me. I arrived by ferry and as I made the short walk to the hotel I spotted a beautiful orange building. It was the hotel! The property is colorful and cheerful. My room was also colorful and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful. There was so much to choose from, including fruits and vegetables and meats and cheese. The breads were outstanding. I was thrilled with the nice selection of teas. But the best thing about the hotel is the staff. They are friendly and helpful. They booked a boat tour of La Maddalena islands for me and showed me where to go for the regional ARST bus. Hotel Marinaro is the best!

I loved my stay at Hotel Marinaro! From the moment you step through the front door, you feel the welcoming presence of a staff that is excited to welcome you to Santa Teresa Gallura! Everyone who works at their front desk is so helpful and gave me wonderful suggestions for beaches and calas to visit, how the reservation system works at certain beaches, and tips on where to see the best sunset on the island! The room was comfortable and had a nice balcony with a clothesline to dry your things after a day at the beach. The breakfast had great variety and options for everyone. The location was great and very close to the town center and you can walk to the Spiaggia Rena Bianca. I 100% recommend this hotel for your stay in Santa Teresa Gallura!

Super location. Clean rooms. Attentive and helpful staff. Walking distance from shops, restaurant and beach. Since it’s a preserved beach, you have to book 3 days ahead so plan in advance.

The locations is prime. A less than 10 minutes walk to either bus station or market or the beach or the restaurants or the town center. The hotel staff were attentive, gave good suggestions with regards to food, drinks and local attractions, friendly, and really helpful. Some of them couldn’t speak english but it was never a hindrance to give good service. The room we were in had ample space, well cleaned and in good condition. The A/C was working well. Our week’s trip would not have been as good as it was if not for this hotel.

Overall, our stay at Hotel Marinaro was highly satisfactory. The rooms were impeccably clean, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, proactively inquiring if there was anything we required.||The breakfast buffet offered an extensive selection of fresh and varied options, catering to diverse dietary preferences.||Special recognition must be given to Antonio, an exceptional employee who consistently exceeded our expectations. His unwavering willingness to assist, coupled with his omnipresence in various departments (reception, kitchen, maintenance), left a lasting impression on us.||We would like to express our gratitude to the entire Hotel Marinaro team for making our stay truly enjoyable and memorable. Good experience at hotel and recommend to have dinner in their restaurant once it has a delicious food.

Location, location, location - the best thing about this property!!! You are a 4 minute walk from the center where all the restaurants, bars, and shopping is located. Another 10 minute walk and you will be on the beautiful OVERCROWDED beach, Rena Bianca. The entire hotel and rooms were extremely clean. The rooms are on the smaller side and the shower and bathroom are really small. If you are a bigger/tall person, you will have some trouble in the shower. The rooms definitely need to be updated and have more power outlets to charge your devices. The hotel is a good value for your money. The only thing I did not like about this hotel was not having their own private parking lot or free charging stations for your rental car. You have to find parking on the street somewhere, where it is very tight and hard to find a spot to park. Breakfast was not the best - typical continental breakfast.

An ok hotel, quite basic, but the rooms were clean and the bed comfy. Staff were friendly. Breakfast simple. Lovely view from the balcony.|We booked a superior room for the extra space. We arrived late in the evening, so just unpacked our bags and went to bed. In the morning, I was thinking about how the room seemed quite small, so I checked my booking. I then realised that we had been allocated a comfort room (the exact same one as shown their website). I didn't bother to complain as I didn't want the hassle of moving rooms.|
