Hotel located within 15m of the wall around the Cordoba Mosque-Cathedral, at the very centre of the old city.|The doorway is well signposted and easy to find.|The staff are professional, friendly and helpful, with good English.|Access to rooms is via stairs or a lift. The hotel comprises three storeys surrounding an open courtyard overtopped by a roof-top terrace. Wifi is provided and reception seems to be good throughout.|The rooms are spacious with high ceilings. Our room had windows with shutters overlooking a busy alley. The shutters were effective against street noise. The bed was firm and aircon is provided.|Accessories provided include a small fridge, but no kettle, tea, coffee or safe.|The bathroom-toilet is well laid out and the utilities modern. A hair dryer is provided.|The cleaners are efficient and the rooms are clean and well maintained.|Breakfast is provided on the ground floor in rooms and the courtyard. This comprises typical Spanish crusty bread/toast with a wide choice of toppings, endless tea/coffee, fresh orange juice, and a choice of pastries. If this is not to your taste, numerous cafes are close by.|The rooftop terrace offers afternoon and evening drinks, food and the best views in town.|Parking is offered underground within metres of the front door. It is important to note that the whole old town area is traffic controlled, some access roads are blocked off, and you must cite Hotel Marisa if challenged. After about 9am roads are crammed with tourists and driving progress is very slow. The parking access and spaces are quite tight, so parking even a moderate SUV is challenging.|Both the ambiance, service and facilities at Hotel Marisa are excellent and I recommend it.

The room was small and tired. There is no real air con, the staff explained that it’s some sort of “re conditioning” of the air to cool it a little, the system is not only inefficient it is also switched off at times (presumably to save power?). Our room was on the ground floor next to the cafe so was very noisy. The location is very good and parking was was good for my motorcycle but I wouldn’t book this hotel again.

Fantastic place to stay. From when I checked in to checking out, each moment was spot-on. Nuria, like all other members of staff, had great energy and helped with planning my trip in Cordobá. The room was perfect for a solo traveller and facilities were faultless - in addition to the spectacular location. I was picking between this hotel and a hostel, and I’m very glad I picked this hotel. Would stay again!

For me, it's an absolutely great place with the best location literally at the door of the cathedral, with the beautiful terace view where they serve food as well. But most of all, amazing people, really lovely staff . Clean rooms, with everything that you need. Breakfast available. I will definitely come back.

Fantastic location right in front of the Mezquita, with lots of restaurants nearby. The rooftop restaurant offers amazing views, and breakfast is available at the hotel. Parking is conveniently next door. Service was outstanding – special thanks to Nooriya for her warm welcome and helpful tips on dining and shopping. Only downside was the centralized air-conditioning, which we couldn’t control in the room. Overall, great value for money and a highly recommended stay!

Perfect location just across from the Cathedral, rooms were cleaned daily. Very attentive staff from reception to breakfast and rooftop restaurants wait staffs. Definitely the best rooftop bar in the area. We enjoyed mane afternoon drinks after exploring all day. Plus the big plus is there’s available parking onsite.

Very late review of Hotel Marisa. Stayed June/July 2024. Highly recommended. Great location excellent service across the street from the Mesquita Cathedral Cordoba, could not get any closer. On arrival was met by Nuria at reception, very lively energetic girl. She stored my bags in a locked room and then explained in detail using a map what to see and do and gave me restaurant suggestions. I booked a single room and it is European standard, so expect small room with a window, comfortable single bed and pillows, a desk and chair, walk-in shower soap, towels, etc. I stored my bags and began exploring as was only there for 2 nights. Room was cleaned daily. Manolo was at reception in the evening of the first day and helped me with my bag to the elevator, he very helpful and pleasant throughout my stay. Juan was amazing at breakfast on the first day. He seemed to be doing everything himself. They offer a continental breakfast so you have toast, butter, jam, shredded tomato, ham, cheese, a croissant, juice and coffee with refills on both of these. It worked well for me. They have a rooftop patio that also serves food and drinks and offers a panoramic breathtaking view of the Mesquita Cathedral. All the famous sites, the Roman bridge, the Alcazar the floral courtyards are in close proximity, as well as the restaurants. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely visit again.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay here. Location is great since it is across the street from the Mezquita. Many great restaurants close to the hotel. Staff was friendly and very helpful and parking the car was not an issue - 20 euro fee per night. Room was a good size and very clean. Beds and bathroom were both very good. The upstairs bar overlooking the mosque was nice. The only negative was the fact that the shower floor was very slippery when using the shower. Definitely not a one star property - and I would highly recommend anyone staying there for their trip to Cordoba.
