Hotel Marqués House

We stayed at MYR Marques House for 3 nights midweek in September for a Valencia mini city break. The hotel is located in a great position, very central and easily walkable for the cathedral, lots of bars, restaurants and shops. Taxi from the airport 20-25 mins. ||We took the room + breakfast package. The room was quite small but had enough space for everything we needed, very clean and comfortable, quiet, air con, nice shower room etc, all good. The smaller space is more than worth it for the brilliant location. ||Breakfast on the roof terrace is really nice, with fantastic friendly and helpful service from a really nice team. We really appreciated how good they were. Pablo on reception was also incredibly kind and helpful, especially on arrival with getting us registered and giving us recommendations for things to do, places to eat and a map to visualise it all. The evening roof terrace bar staff were also amazing. Brilliant help, thanks everyone 🙌☀️

I spent two days in this hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist, Belén. She was very helpful and advised me on everything. I was given a bright room with a beautiful view. The room is very tastefully decorated and cozy. The breakfast was absolutely perfect for me. You can choose from several courses that they prepare for you. Overall, I rate my stay very positively. I highly recommend it!

This is a lovely boutique hotel in a great location in Valencia. Although it is a very short walk to sites, restaurants and shops, the exact location is tucked away on a quieter alley across from another hotel — but about 50 steps in either direction you are on a main calle with restaurants and shops. There’s a peaceful rooftop and a cafe/bar that was great for a nightcap with friends. The staff is super friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

We booked a week at MYR to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who were very friendly and helpful. They accompanied us to our room and, to our great surprise, there was a beautiful bouquet of flowers with a bottle of champagne, specially arranged for my wife’s birthday. The room was spotless and perfectly taken care of. The staff were always ready with tips and advice about the city, especially regarding great dining options. Our sincere appreciation goes out to the MYR team for the unforgettable time we had here. We will definitely return whenever we are in Valencia.

A fantastic boutique hotel in a superb location, would highly recommend (we have stayed on two occasions now). The rooms are well proportioned and well maintained, credit to the house keeping staff. If you enjoy a cocktail then the a visit to the hotel bar is a must, the cocktails are the best we had in Valencia, properly made and the service was excellent. However we owe the reception staff a special thank you and acknowledgement, on Saturday 6th September we had a minor medical issue and the reception staff handled the matter with the utmost respect and professionalism, they attended our needs and were sympathetic throughout, thank you

From the moment I booked, the staff were welcoming and helpful. The check in/out experience was incredibly smooth and the front of house was very knowledgeable and gave us a guide of places of interest to visit and places to eat.||I booked the smaller double room which was ample for the 2 of us. Bed was comfy, facilities in the room were great and it was nice touch to have a small balcony.||Complimentary water, tea and coffee. We were also given a bottle of cava to celebrate our anniversary, which was a lovely touch! ||Received a welcome drink when we arrived - bar has a lovely chilled vibe. There is rooftop terrace for breakfast. We didn’t have breakfast but ventured up to the rooftop which is nice.||The location of the hotel was perfect - most tourist places were all in walking distance from the Saint Nicholas Cathedral, the food market and the main shopping strip. ||A trip to the beach Playa de la Malvarrosq is highly recommended. Taxi is approx. 18 euros and takes about 20mins. ||Local supermarket right outside the shop which is convenient and lovely patisserie places nearby too!||I would not hesitate to book this hotel again.

What a lovely stylish boutique hotel in the heart of the historic center. Well appointed rooms. The warm reception staff were all gracious and helpful. Special thank you too Daniele, Javi, Claudia, Paloma and Roberta, who went out of their way to make recommendations, reservations and ensure that we had a taxi waiting for us at 3 AM to get to the airport. The first floor of the hotel is Café Madrid, where the famous Aqua de Valencia cocktail was invented. It lives up to the hype – absolutely delicious! Overall a truly lovely experience, and I would return without hesitation.

Great Hotel..Great location. Spent 7 days here. Nothing negative to say. Room was spacious. Much bigger than the last room in Granada. Big bathroom. Nice amenities. Nice size T.V. Staff was very friendly. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommend.
