Hotel Marqueses

Beautiful old building. This however also has its side effects. Due to the thick walls, wifi connection in the rooms is quite bad. At night it can get quite cold but there was a heater in the room. Bathroom is spacious with a big shower. It wasn’t cleaned however during our stay - only the bed was made. We stayed in a small double room with a tiny window opening to the hallway. Little claustrophobic and couldn’t really air out the musty smell. Seemed quite expensive for what you get. Staff at reception and breakfast was very friendly and helpful.

If you are looking for a historic and authentic place in a good location, this place is for you. If you are looking for a minimum level of comfort, that is not for you. Everything is old, rooms are noisy, temperature is not controlled, internet is not reliable if any, etc...

Excellent, overall experience. With heated rooms, hot water. This place is everything that other places around here. Didn't have.

The hotel is so charming! It is in a great location, walking distance to the Plaza de Armas and restaurants. Perfect location if you are using Alpaca Expeditions for a tour (located just around the corner). The service was lovely with 24 hour front desk staff, and the room was so cozy! We returned from a 4 day Inca trail hike to friendly staff and a hot shower. We slept so well here. I wish we had more days at the hotel. Highly recommend!

This is a lovely hotel in the centre of Cusco. Moderately priced. We had a comfortable stay. Excellent breakfast. But most of all the front office staff are lovely and go all the way to make your stay comfortable and memorable. By chance I forgot to ensure one of my bags was loaded onto the taxi and left for airport. The hotel immediately dispatched one of their staff to the airport with the bag. What a lovely gesture. I have never had another hotel ever do this for me and I have to been to over 60 countries.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Marqueses in Cusco. All the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to make sure you have everything. It is quite the unique decor and so beautiful. The breakfast's are great. Coffee excellent! Even made for you. I would extremely recommend this hotel. It's in a great location, you're able to walk to many places. We had our rides all covered with our associated travel company SAS. The Wifi isn't the best but the whole experience of this hotel is a must

Great place to stay. The rooms are big and comfy. The place has a unique character to it. It feels like I’m staying in a palace from old times. |Great service. They were very responsive. They ensured everything was available. Check out and check in were smooth.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very atmospheric building. Clean and tidy. Good breakfast. Central location. Would certainly stay there again and recommend to others we really enjoyed our first stay in Cusco. . Many thanks for an excellent stay and for all your help.
