Hotel Martha Dresden GmbH

We stayed here for two nights during a visit to Dresden. There were 4 of us, and the apartment room was great for our needs, with two bedrooms and a separate foyer area. The location was fine - it was a bit of a walk, but doable, to the old town, and we were able to find street parking for our car near the hotel.||We visited during a heat wave, and the hotel has no A/C, so be aware that it can be very warm, we weren't able to sleep well. There were minimal toiletries provided, and the bed pillows were much to soft for my taste. All that said, the staff were very friendly and happy to answer questions about their city.

Hotel Martha is a lovely, quaint hotel in a quiet part of the 'New Town' neighborhood. It is a 5 minute walk from the Neustadt Train Station and 1.5 km to the 'Old Town' city center just across the bridge. It is also in walking distance of 'Outer New Town'. Therefore, the location was perfect for us to explore Dresden old and new! The hotel is super clean. Our room was spacious and the bathroom had a large tub (bath salts provided daily) with shower. The front desk staff is there 24 hours/day and speak very good English. The buffet breakfast had a large variety of quality German fare with eggs to order if wanted. I highly recommend this hotel!

We spent one night at Hotel Martha, and it was truly a memorable experience. The rooms were beautifully designed, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Everything was impeccably tidy, and to add a special touch for the Christmas season, they left a lovely biscuit and chocolate for us, which was such a thoughtful gesture. If I ever travel to Dresden again, I will definitely stay there!

Friendly people, located in a building which remained standing after the annihilation in 2nd WW. In apeaceful street. Has a backyard where breakfast can be taken. No airconditioning in rooms.

Hotel Martha is a lovely hotel. It is situated close to the Neustadt station and about 1,5 km from the city center. But the area is nice and has restaurant opportunities. Staff were very helpful. We had a good breakfast in the nice setting of the garden. Room was spatious and clean. Very comfortable.

Clean modern hotel that is easy walking distance from the “new town” train station. Our room was very quiet. The bed was ok, but could have had a little better mattress. Other than the bed, we liked everything else about the hotel. The breakfast selection was good, with a pretty garden courtyard and interior plants. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. It's an easy walk over the bridge to the "Old Town". The staff was friendly, and spoke English well. Recommend this hotel.

Recommend. Nice renovated property in quiet residential neighborhood. Six minute walk to Neustadt train station. Staff was friendly but new reception clerk failed to point us to the correct elevator to find our room. Clean, standard size room with comfortable bed and three chairs for seating. Bathroom size was good. Breakfast options include scrambled eggs, deli meat, cheese, rolls, cereal & fruit. We liked the very dainty coffee cups. WiFi connection was iffy and wouldn't work with VPN. Adequate power outlets for charging devices. No safe deposit box, fridge or A/C. Plenty of restaurant options about ten minutes away.

An ideally situated clean and comfortable hotel in a quiet street just a few minutes walk from the wonderful sights and attractions Dresden has to offer. The staff were all very friendly and helpful when asked questions, and I was allowed to safely store my bike in their cellar. A very good breakfast buffet with lots of choice is available for just 10 Euros.
