Had a nice one night stay at Hotel Marul. Rooms were clean and comfortable, there were nice amenities and breakfast was substantial. Staff weren’t overly friendly but did their best. Location was very convenient, only a 5 minute walk to the main centre of town. Would stay here again.

Brought my husband here for 3 nights for his birthday, chose the hotel based on the reviews and was not disappointed.|Great location, literally 5 min walk from main streets/square. 10 mins to promenade. |The national theatre is around the corner and beautiful singers performed on the steps each night whilst people sat in the square in front to listen. |The hotel owner and employees are all lovely and super helpful, also helped me arrange cake and champagne for my husband as a surprise. |Breakfast is included and lovely made to order omelettes and continental choices.|Our room was big with comfortable bed, great rain shower, big tv with many English channels and a small fridge. The best part was the amazing aircon !! I didn’t realise how super hot Split would be in August even late evenings, was a struggle sight seeing in the heat so I loved coming back to our room each time.|Enjoyed the bar and sitting outside, prices were very reasonable especially compared to bars literally a street or 2 away in the main centre. I wished the bar opened beyond 10pm as the evening was still lovely and light that time and temperatures started cooling to enjoy. Also shame the restaurant didn’t open evenings as would’ve loved to have ate there too. |Due to central location was noisy one night with people passing by till about 4am but not hotels fault. |Would definitely recommend booking here and would return if visited Solit again.

Had a nice stay at Hotel Marul. Great location. Clean, comfortable rooms. Staff were friendly enough but didn’t go out of there way to be overly accommodating with directions or organizing a taxi for us.

Great hotel just on the edge of the old town, 5 minutes walk from Diocletians palace and with restaurants even closer. Staff were brilliant, giving advice on trips, restaurants and even telling me which cash machines to use. Rooms are spacious and spotless with large bathrooms. Lovely garden to have breakfast in or evening drinks. Breakfast is basic but good quality, with buffet and fresh eggs and pancakes to order. Would definitely stay again.

We had a 2 day stop over in Split before our trip to Zagreb and Slovenia and decided to stay at Hotel Marul based on reviews..Its a small hotel with limited facilities. More like bed and breakfast. Staff at reception and breakfast was good. Location is very close to major tourist spots which is a plus. Rooms r small and very basic. No points there. Overall an ok experience

Comfortable hotel with good-size rooms in an amazing location. Beds were firm and comfortable. Everything was super-clean and well-maintained. There is a beautiful garden with restaurant and bar; breakfast (included) was decent but not fantastic (though the eggs were superfresh and well cooked). The hotel is in a perfect location -- you can get really close in a car so you dont have to drag your bags far, but it is right in the heart of downtown, a 3 minute walk to the walls of the Diocletian Palace and within the pedestrian area. Staff were very friendly. Highly recommend.

Excellent location, but be prepared for parking to be a challenge. Parking is compensated by the hotel, if you can find a spot in the designated lot. ||Staff are very friendly. At check in your offered a map and given a briefing on where the high-lights of the area are located. ||The room was very clean. Bed was firm, pillows too thick.||Our bathroom had a nice counter where you had plenty of room to unpack your items. Room was quiet, mini fridge with 2 bottles of water, plastic tea kettle available.||Breakfast was nice. You could sit inside or outdoors in a lovely garden area, the sliced cantaloupe was spectacular. They had fresh grilled vegetables, bacon, yogurt, cheeses, pastries, medium boiled eggs, coffee was very good. ||There was a squeeze bottle mounted to the wall to use as your hand soap, my preference is a soap bar...the squeeze bottle is not easy to use. And others with dirty hands used it before you. Yuck.||There was a small place to put your soap bar in the shower but not a shelf for your shampoo or other items. I truly do not like placing my items on a shower floor.||Considering my few pet peeves this is an excellent location and I would absolutely stay here again.
