Hotel Mary

We had a lovely week at Hotel Mary. All the staff were welcoming and kind, incredibly helpful. The car valet service was a little gem, so useful as there isn’t anywhere to park. |The hotel exceeded expectations - our room was big and spacious with a balcony overlooking the sea. Fabulous sunsets every night! |Breakfast was good, lovely cakes if you like breakfast dessert! |We had a few lunches by the pool which were also very good. |We visited mid-September when it was quiet but I imagine it’s busy during school holidays. The beach Club was also very nice (there is a shuttle bus every hour for 2 euros). |Vico Equense is full of restaurants, an easy walk and everyone very friendly. Would recommend!|The train station is also an easy walk and you can get to Pompeii or Sorrento very easily and cheaply.

What a wonderful hotel in the perfect location. We agree with the other reviews, the staff here are all amazing, they go out of their way to make your stay as perfect as possible! We stayed as a family of 5 and each of us loved the hotel and the service. A special thank you goes out to Vincenzo who is the heart of the hotel at breakfast, he greets everyone with a smile and welcomes you each morning, finding you a perfect table. Nothing was ever too much trouble. All the staff in reception are great too. Would definitely recommend.

We've just returned from a lovely stay at Hotel Mary. The hotel is modern and spotlessly clean. The rooms are well equipped and the views are stunning. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed exploring Vico Equense and with the helpful direction from the staff it's an easy train ride to Sorrento however on some days the trains stop running early and the bus replacements are unreliable so plan ahead! Didn't eat at the restaurant but breakfast and the cocktails were top notch.

Our stay at Hotel Mary was absolutely wonderful! The hotel is in a stunning location with breathtaking views that just take your breath away. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the breakfast spread was fantastic—plenty of delicious options to choose from. But honestly, what makes this place truly special is the staff. The entire team at Hotel Mary is hands-down the best! They go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible, always finding ways to make it even better. This was our second time staying here, and somehow it was even more amazing than the first time—which was already perfect! We can’t wait to come back for another unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Mary! All of the staff were attentive and ready to help any guest - particularly Vincenzo and his team in the restaurant!||Our room was modern in an art deco style. It was nice and large withp storage space for our luggage and clothes. The sea club, pool and spa are all well maintained and a relaxing way to spend the day!||Vico Equense is a quiet town with lots of delicious local restaurants. The hotel is easy to access on foot from the train station which connects to Naples, Pompei and Sorrento.||We had a wonderful trip and would recommend Hotel Mary to anyone looking to explore the Sorrento coast. We can't wait to go back!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Mary in Vico Equense. The location is ideal, with beautiful views and easy access to everything Vico has to offer. The valet parking service was efficient and convenient and the staff handling it were very helpful and polite.||From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed. The receptionist was excellent, friendly and made check-in a breeze. The gentleman at breakfast was also incredibly kind and attentive — a great way to start the day! The breakfast selection was satisfying, with plenty of variety and both the coffee and overall service were excellent.||We also loved the pool area — very clean and relaxing — with a great bar and helpful staff ready to assist with anything we needed. The rooms were spotless, thanks to the very good cleaning service and overall we felt comfortable throughout our stay.||If there's one downside, it would be the poor sound insulation in the rooms. Unfortunately, noise from adjacent rooms or the corridor could be heard, which slightly affected the overall peace and quiet.||We'd happily return and definitely recommend it to others visiting the area.

A lovely hotel with exceptional views . The restaurant manager was particularly welcoming . The hotel was very clean and the room was well appointed. As always it would have been nice to have coffee facilities in the room and on our last day after checkout we had to pay 40 euros to use the pool , which was disappointing. Definately reserve an ocean view room you wont regret it

Hotel Mary is the place to be. It really is. With a dreamy infinity pool which stretches out towards the gulf of Naples, flawless service and its own sea club; you leave feeling as if some a list celebrity. ||The Hotel Mary sea club is perfect for relaxing on the pontoon, or chilling out in the sea and letting the sea wash away your worries, and seduce you to sleep. Despite the somewhat challenging walk down the cliff to reach the club, everything becomes worthwhile when you are greeted by the smiling faces of the lifeguards and welcomed to a longing sun lounger. Of course, the hotel does provide a shuttle taxi service for 2 Euros per person for each journey, and personally this was highly useful, as it is essential after a long day at the club. Though it did seem a tad expensive, and I thought that the hotel should offer this included in the price of the stay. ||Always personable, friendly and consistently charming, the staff at Hotel Mary deliver on every level. At Breakfast, in particular, the Maitre d’ is great. Huge shoutout to this man who greets guests with a happy barrage of ‘gratzie Mille’ and boundless energy. The breakfast options were also limitless, exceeding my expectations enormously. Think a selection of cheeses, mozarella, buck’s fizz, yogurts, chocolate croissants and so much more. Everything anyone could need. ||Although we really enjoyed the breakfast on offer, we did not opt for evening meals every day at the hotel and instead found numerous caverns of well-sourced produce in the vibrant town of Vico Equense. All bars and restaurants are within 10/15 minute walking distance which proves for electric evenings in juxtaposition with relaxed, chilled out days at the Hotel Mary Beach club or beside the infinity pool Perhaps the best of these evenings we enjoyed at ‘Il barrio Osteria’. Set in a mediterranean courtyard, the atmosphere takes your back to the roman ‘peristylium’ or courtyard garden, surrounded by fruit trees, it was the perfect place to get a taste of authentic local cuisine and taste some divine flavours at the same time. And let’s not also forget the simply sublime food provided at Hotel Mary. Who knew that one flight of stairs from your hotel room could deliver such delicious flavours. The pasta melted in your mouth. The cocktail, a class above the rest. The dessert tangy and fruity. This hotel delivers on every level. ||Hotel Mary: a place filled with luxury. This hotel balances two worlds perfectly. While Hotel Mary is centred on relaxation, and the spa experiences, the nearby train station allows you to hop along the coast to the numerous attractions. It provides the best of both worlds; I truly believe that whoever enters those ‘Hotel Mary’ doors will experience the same luxury, the same splendour which I have been graced with for 7 days. In the words of the famous maitre d' framing my dessert 'a symphony'. I think the same can be said for the rest of the hotel. Hotel Mary is a symphony of flavours, of vibrancy, of stunning views and a symphony, at that, coated with a layer of class.
