A true hidden gem. This was our second time in two years we visited Le Mas Ferreria to wind down from busy Barcelona. The views are amazing, the pool big and lovely water (no chloride). The hotel itself is set up with great details and care and lovely amenities. You are surrounded by nature and the sounds of birds. We had dinner in the hotel every day, because it’s convenient and super tasty local food. The croquettes are the best. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. It’s kind of a farm stay, but luxurious. It was privilege to stay here.

Unique hotel experience - old historic farmhouse set right next to historic church with mountains and trees all around. Highly recommended. |Small number of rooms with all fittings to a high quality including very comfy bed and lovely linen. Beautiful new decent sized (salted) pool set within trees. Chef of the varied evening dinner menu is excellent. Recommend slow cooked lamb, cauliflower/prawn soup and volcano desert. |Absolutely loved this place and will return. Only one suggestion for the owners - be great if the staff greeted new guests by looking up from front desk, smiling and saying hola….plus greeted guests each time they passed them (maybe even remembering names) - although staff are young they are bright/nice but could do with some hotel management fine tuning to compliment the fabulous attention to detail throughout the premises and gardens. |Plus I guess that taking drinks orders at poolside is too tricky - we would have ordered cava and water!

This hotel is situated in a wonderful location with great views of the area and convenient proximity to both the scenic rural surroundings and towns It is comfortably immersed in the beautiful natural environment with hiking trails from the hotel. The hotel is a traditional, yet modernized farmhouse. The room looked onto the beautiful, peaceful property. There is an ancient historic church located on the property - no church bells ringing, as it seemed rarely used, also a clean, new swimming pool. |We stayed for three nights, in fact we cancelled another reservation so that we could stay another night. We ate in the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. The food was fresh with traditional, local and modern cuisine. The kitchen staff, very kindly, catered to my limited eating restrictions. The staff at the hotel couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating giving us suggestions for hikes and places to visit. They were all friendly, seemed happy to be working there and professional. One of the highlights of the visit was getting to meet the owners. They could not have been kinder or more obliging. Their dedication, work and the thought they put into renovating the hotel makes it a truly special place. |Whether you're looking for a spotless place to stay while you sightsee, enjoy outdoors sports, or just want a place to relax amidst the natural beauty and enjoy delicious food and service - this is the place for you!

In February 2022 we had the privilege of celebrating our wedding at the Hotel Mas La Ferreria. We had been looking for a small, luxurious hotel that had the perfect balance of intimate, rustic charm and airy, modern comfort and Mas La Ferreria ticked all of those boxes and more. We first visited the hotel in November 2021 with our wedding planner. When we arrived we were greeted by friendly and welcoming staff and offered a guided tour of the hotel and drinks whilst we waited to meet David, one of the hotel owners. David was warm and helpful and he shared with us interesting insights into the history of the hotel, advice about organizing our catering including recommending local providers and answered all of our questions about how we could use the space and furniture in the hotel as the perfect background for our special day. We stayed the night in the hotel and enjoyed kind and attentive service, a delicious meal and bottle of wine for dinner, a cozy night in one of the beautiful suites and an amazing continental breakfast before checking out. For the actual celebration of our wedding, ourselves and our guests arrived on Friday afternoon and we were treated to a wonderful dinner made with local ingredients, served with local wine and finished off with complimentary shots of local liquor! The staff were incredibly accommodating and helped us prepare final details for our special day but also gave us enough space to feel a sense of peace and privacy. On the day of the wedding everyone was so kind and attentive, we truly felt like part of the Mas La Ferreria family. Nothing was too much trouble and we and our wedding planning team had the complete freedom to use the hotel space as we wanted including moving furniture and adding decoration to spaces throughout the hotel. In fact, even on the Friday morning before we had arrived, the hotel allowed our wedding team to decorate the bedrooms with additional soft furnishings, accessories and flowers. During the wedding day the hotel owners were also kind enough to encourage us to use their personal garden and swimming pool area to take photographs. We felt so welcomed and well taken care of! The morning after the wedding we had plenty of time to enjoy breakfast and tidy up after the wedding before sadly saying goodbye to the wonderful team and we truly cannot wait to visit again and relive the memories of our special day all over again. The hotel is located a convenient distance from Barcelona (around 1.5 hrs drive), and whilst it feels remote and peaceful when you are there, it is incredibly easy to locate and drive to. Unlike many other rural hotels in the area, the access road is fully tarmacked and only a short drive from the main road. The hotel was very comfortable for all of our guests, even those who had additional accessibility needs as it has a lift between all floors and ramps around the main areas of the hotel. Even in February, all rooms in the hotel felt extremely warm and cozy. Every corner in the hotel feels impeccably clean and the building has been so beautifully taken care of. The main areas of the hotel are full of character and charm - from the main dining room with its gorgeous wooden beam and the comfy lounge area with the huge fireplace to the beautiful glass dining room with its stunning views and the lush grounds with the luxurious swimming pools and historic church. Each bedroom is also uniquely decorated and truly has its own personality and history. If you are looking for a hotel with an intimate and luxurious feel, where you can relax in beautiful surroundings, enjoy delicious local produce and be taken care of by the most welcoming and friendly staff, then we couldn’t recommend Hotel Mas La Ferreria enough.

Fabulous location and views. Good parking access. Great breakfast selection, quality cocktails. Inconsistent service, attitudes and attention to details. Watch out for late night noise in room 8 due to proximity to outdoor restaurant (but this room does have great views, (even whilst in the shower) and a little balcony. And DO NOT USE kettles, the lids are clay bowls left on top to look nice but apparently did not come with the kettles. My husband scolded his hand. Staff were made aware but did not replace it or follow-up, which seemed a little carefree. Overall this hotel is worth staying at if you can be flexible with some noise, they have done their best to insulate the rooms. Just some silly esthetic decisions with items like chairs in rooms, which make a great deal of noise if moved, air conditioning which lands on your face at night and of course the kettle issue - wish I had taken a photo. Fabulous terrace for sun bathing but if you want service you will need to go and find it. Rubber shoes available to protect feet for using the slightly rocky access to the sea below and nice touches like large bathing towels and use of straw beach bag. Good quality products overall. Some staff were amazing, others made you feel an inconvenience. WIFI inconsistent - had to take a conference call near reception.

Wonderful, peaceful hotel in a wonderful part of Spain. The staff was amazing, the food was exceptional. Volcano cheese ice cream dessert was to die for. ||The grounds are lovely. Room was large and the private porch was great. ||Staff was constantly attentive and helpful. Loved the place.

I've visited this rural boutique hotel multiple times, and each stay consistently impresses me with the team's evident pride and meticulous attention to every detail. For anyone seeking a tranquil retreat that exemplifies good taste and comfort, this hotel is a must-consider option. My recent experience at their new restaurant was particularly memorable. The food there is simply sensational—boasting exceptional quality with an appealingly straightforward, unfussy style that perfectly complements the rural ambiance of the hotel. It's a place where you can truly unwind and relax in an elegant yet unpretentious setting.
