My friends’ room was not ready by 12 as promised. When they finally received the key, the room was dusty, dirty, and even had a cardboard box on the floor. After notifying the staff, they had to wait another 30 minutes, only to later discover a used bar of soap covered in pubes by the already filthy and hideous showers, when we told them about this other issue I even heard one of the staff members called Georgina whispering as she called me the N WORD. Please, do NOT stay in here for your own sake.

The rooms are ugly as fruck, the service is awful, my room literally had no exterior windows since their architect decided it would be a good idea to add a window directing towards the wall

Great location, nice small hotel with lots of character, some small details, like u only get two bath towels. It may or may not be a big deal to you.

A bit neglected but not bad if you’re bringing a furry friend. Please don’t get me wrong, the neglect is everywhere we traveled through from Yucatán to Quintana Roo. We were out alittle over a year and a half ago. Everything was clean and fresh everywhere. Maybe slow season or something.

I'll start off with the positive. This is such a cute hotel modeled kind of like an Italian Villa. The design and architecture departs from the traditional square or rectangle style rooms, hallways ect. I feel this hotel has such enormous potential to be a four star hotel but alas, it is what it is. The rooms are much larger than normal. I'm guessing maybe 700 square feet? Beds are firm which I prefer. The locally made honey shampoo and soaps are a nice touch. It's not super luxurious (ie fixtures and what not) but it's adequate for the price. I can't say many positive things about the staff. They're not rude per-se, they just don't seem to care a whole lot about doing their jobs so don't expect smiling, happy staff to greet incoming guests and to welcome you to breakfast. They advertise "free parking" but they don't even have a parking lot, only street parking. That's a little disingenuous. It's like saying "free refreshments" and offering water. For people like me riding motorcycles, knowing our bikes are secure is a very big requirement and parking on the street is the last place we want to leave our bikes. Thankfully the manager let me park my bike right near the front door off the street. I would stay here again because I didn't have a bad experience really, I just think they could do a whole lot better with a little bit of management restructuring, staff incentives and maybe some upgrades here and there.

I loved the property, it has a creative, colorful, fun ambience. The staff was great, the location was even better. One block off the beach a little south in the town. It was perfect for being close to everything, but not right in the really busy part. The rooms are simple and clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. A breakfast restaurant is onsite which was convenient. Many other restaurants, stores and other shops are a few steps away. I'll be back for sure.

We stayed here for 2 nights - reserving a standard queen sized room. Our room was high up on the 3rd floor with a balcony that offered a view of the water. The balcony had one extremely weathered stool that looked like you would get splinters if you to used it to sit on. The sliding door for the balcony did not latch shut so someone could easily enter from the balcony of the adjoining room. The room itself was pretty basic with a very firm bed and pillows, a small flat screen TV that showed mostly programming in Spanish but did have CNN in English. The shower head was clogged with sarro (mineral deposits) and the water was tepid at best. There were nice containers of a locally made honey shampoo and nice soaps.||The hotel does have a nice and large tiled pool but we didn't use it and a restuarant that is open for breakfast but we ate elsewhere.

Classic bait n switch, communicated before hand that I had reservation for 4 nights at $50 a night . Upon arrival was told reservation had been canceled and room would be $60 a night, had driven 5 hours didn't have strength to translate and argue.
