Hotel Maya Kuala Lumpur City Centre

I stayed at Maya Hotel for one week, and overall it was a memorable experience. The location is truly excellent—one of the best places to enjoy a clear and stunning view of the iconic Twin Towers. This alone made my stay special and convenient for exploring the city.||||The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit, and the hotel's atmosphere was warm and comfortable. However, I must mention that the overall cleanliness did not fully meet my expectations. With such a beautiful property in a prime location, I believe the housekeeping standards could be improved to match the quality of the hotel.||||Despite this, my stay was pleasant, and with a little more attention to cleanliness, Maya Hotel has the potential to offer an exceptional experience for all guests.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A truly wonderful stay at Hotel Maya KL! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted at reception with warm smiles that instantly made me feel welcome. My room was comfortable and cozy, with a lovely bed and all the amenities I could need. I was especially impressed by the spacious bathroom — it was such a pleasure to take a relaxing bath there! The little details made my stay even better — the cookies were absolutely delicious, and the breakfast and restaurant meals were simply outstanding. But what truly stood out was the amazing staff. Their kindness and professionalism went far beyond my expectations. When I accidentally left my backpack at the hotel, they went out of their way to ensure it was safely delivered to me at the airport. I honestly lack words to express how grateful I am for their help and care. Hotel Maya is a place where hospitality truly shines — I recommend it from all my heart

Terrible experience with the night manager when we complained about the noise. Not professional and very rude individual. He was lucky I was on holiday with my already tired wife otherwise he’d have got a proper earful off me. Prat. Location was good but on the weekend the noise levels were bad due to the boy racers on their bikes - we was up until 5am - it’s a shame as the hotel wasn’t even bad - just didn’t expect the level of service I received from a “5 star” hotel. Shame If you’re looking to book this hotel, avoid weekends due to the boy racers - the other days were fine and can’t fault it. Yes I also understand it’s not the hotels fault that they’re doing this however I did not expect the level of service I got in such a rude manner the way I did. Never in my life have I experienced this at ANY hotel. Let alone one in Malaysia where the people I have met are the nicest in the world. Unfortunately in this instance it wasn’t. Oh and the lifts take forever. No lie I once waited 5/7 minutes for a lift - and once you’re in it you go to click the level the call gets cancelled once somebody else comes in. So sometimes when you’re trying to go up, you go back down then go back up again. What on earth? Pros: good location and the bar/shisha lounge was great at a decent price with a nice view

We stayed at Hotel Maya for two nights, and overall the experience was just meh. When we arrived early, the front office didn’t acknowledge us for a good 5–10 minutes even though we were standing right in front of them, which was disappointing. The room was spacious, but it wasn’t cleaned properly. We found dust on the table, tea tray and even the bedside cupboard. The bathroom also had issues, the water temperature was very hard to control. It was either extremely hot or extremely cold, and at one point only boiling hot water was coming out even when adjusted to cold. Food was quite bland, and I instantly regretted adding breakfast to our booking. On the bright side, the staff at the buffet area were friendly and accommodating, and the location of the hotel was great. Unfortunately, because of the overall experience, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

We stayed for 2 days and 1 night in a deluxe room. The location was strategic near the KLCC. Our room has a view of the TRX plus the cemetery and unfortunately a construction site. It was quite noisy during the day. The room was clean. The reception was great. We get to check in early. But we did request for a birthday deco and did not managed to get it.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were friendly and always ready to help. My room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a great variety of options. The location was perfect close to restaurants and public transport. I’ll definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

Great hotel. Rooms are nice, spacious, clean. Staff are super helpful and polite. We also had the breakfast buffet which great and had plenty of options. Location was fantastic. Short walk from the petronus towers. 20 minute walk to Jalan Tar. Convenient locations for grabs and many attractions. Would definitely recommend.

The positives Location Large well laid out rooms Cleaned well while we were there Lots of hot water in the bath (figured out the weird cyclone toilet flush !) the view from the bar on the 13th floor (though bit expensive ) The 24 hour food place opposite EAT there !!! We did all week SO cheap and such lovely food AND drinks And finally Devi’s place downstairs (try his coffee and tea OMG cheap and SO lovely as is he :) Negatives Half the lifts under renovation so took ages to get to and from rooms Food etc there we didn’t try except the truffle fries in the bar (13th floor) yum but seemed pricey for KL NOISE !!! OMG yes the traffic and the motorbikes /cars all night but we could live with that it’s central KL but we were graveyard side and they are building a new hotel next door (just started so will be a long time I guess and there was hammer drilling EVERY day from 8am ALL day ! No ear plugs etc would help you and was SO loud I was actually laughing and recorded it !! I’m not a light sleeper but it was ridiculous and when we asked to be moved the staff on the desk were totally disinterested unapologetic and just said no there were no rooms (even if they were they could of been a bit better about it because god knows they must get EVERYONE that side complaining!?) So if you want sleep check what side the building you are on ! Enjoyed my stay though

One of the best hotels in the area. I first stayed at the hotel a few years back because my friends and I were wanting to club at the infamous club opposite the hotel. We checked in at mid day and were promptly escorted to our suite. The check-in was smooth and quick, the staff at the front counter were very courteous and helpful. The room itself had a beautiful view of KLCC. It was clean and spacious, well equipped with a bathtub and extra pillows, always a plus point. The amenities were also not too bad. The swimming pool was big and clean, would not expect any less. The gym was also well-equipped, although some of the equipment were showing abit of wear and tear, nothing too serious. The breakfast was good, they had a huge spread of local and western delights. The hightlight was the omelette station, where the cooked our customised omelette to order. Definitely would visit again soon
