Lovely place! |The whole concept of the hotel amongst mango trees was beautiful, the views from every floor amazing. The food was good, the service great. My friends mentioned how soft the sheets were and how comfortable the bed was, we all had a great night sleep. The location was central and a couple of walking blocks to the beach. Everyone at the hotel and restaurant were super helpful and attentive. I want to go back.

What a beautiful and unique hotel, and wonderful service! We arrived very late and thought we missed being able to get our room for the night. To our great surprise the night watchman greeted us with our room key and took us to our room as he said they were expecting us. In the morning the owners made sure we had breakfast before starting a busy day. Very friendly and attentive, and the premises were clean and neat. And you can't beat the view ❤️.

🌟 Maya Vista Hotel Restaurant: Where Views and Flavor Collide During my recent stay in Tela, I had the pleasure of dining at Maya Vista Hotel Restaurant, and it left an indelible mark on my heart. Here’s why: 1. Breathtaking Views: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perched atop Tela’s highest spot, the restaurant offers an outdoor dining experience with sweeping vistas. As I savored my meal, I couldn’t tear my eyes away from the panoramic view of Tela and the sea. It’s a feast for the senses. 2. Varied Menu: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The menu caters to diverse tastes. I indulged in the rich and cheesy lasagna, while my friend relished the perfectly roasted chicken. Each dish was a celebration of flavors. 3. Atmosphere: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Al fresco dining under the open sky—what more could you ask for? The ambiance is relaxed, allowing you to savor your meal while soaking in the beauty around you. 4. Friendly Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The staff at Maya Vista radiate warmth. Their genuine smiles and attentive service enhance the overall experience. It’s evident that they take pride in sharing their culinary treasures with guests. 5. Unforgettable Moments: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting hues of orange and pink, I realized that Maya Vista isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a memory etched in time. In Summary: Maya Vista Hotel Restaurant is more than a place to eat; it’s an invitation to savor life’s simple pleasures. Whether you’re a traveler or a local, make sure to visit this gem.

What a beautiful place to go for a great lunch or romantic date in the evening. Our table for two overlooked the city lights below and the beach. Our meal of shrimp, fries and salad was fresh, tasty and attractively presented.

The high ocean view at sunset is a 5, and the food is a 5 too. Worth the visit to relax and enjoy the peaceful view.

Firstly, this hotel is not ADA-equipped because of it location. I have not stayed at the bigger hotels-resorts but if you have older kids, or couples, this is a wonderful hotel. It is VERY unique as it is about 4-storeys in various split levels. There is a very good and quaint restaurant on-site with good freshly cooked breakfast, and other lunch and dinner option. The lighting is lovely for a special occasion celebration. The hotel is set into the hill amidst many mango trees and overlooking the ocean. It's like living in the tree near the ocean. There are swimming pools, hammock area, and each floor has beautiful views of the ocean and the hills behind. Only minutes from the beach. The only tricky part is driving up to the hotel and limited parking to unload luggage. There is a separate parking area halfway down the hill. There is no elevator. The rooms are spacious and perfect for families. No extra amenities such as hairdryer, fridge, microwave or coffee making facilities. Pillows are on the "lean" side but we brought our own. Complimentary soap and shampoo packets are limited.

We ate at the restaurant for New Year’s Eve. The food was excellent. Everything was fresh and the portions were more than enough. They served filet mignon and lobster with a couple of sides. I must say that it exceeded my expectations. The fees was very tasty and the lobster was excellent. The view was nice as well. I would definitely recommend and will go back if I am in the area.
