Hotel Mayna

Food great. Staff very good. Room good value for money. Great location. | This hotel is aimed at Older Spanish holidaymakers. If you are likely to be offended by no Engerlish tv, having mainly wonderful Spanish food, the staff not speaking engerlish fluently then please don’t go here!!!!!

I'm leaving a 2/5 star rating because of the wifi situation. Yes there is wifi in the hotel, but as soon as you go to your room it's gone. This was the same situation for my dad who also couldn't get wifi in his room either. You can only get it at reception or in the hallways. It's not 2010 anymore it's 2025 and people rely on the internet now for most things so i really feel the wifi needs to be adjusted and fixed. As for everything else it's a decent, affordable hotel and the location for it is great. It's a shame because if it wasn't for the wifi i would have recommended this hotel.

I canceled 2 hours after checked in, person at the reception was the weirdest ever, not sure of the reason, refused to change my dirty room, refused to go up to check it out, advised me to call the police to complaint!!!||The room was really dirty, smelly, I wasn't able to use the bathroom out of being smelly , i spend 1 hour called booking.com, canceled my stay and booked another hotel, was a rough start of a stay, but sh*t happens!||To sum it up:||Run as fast as you can from this place and never look back!! Run for you life!

For 2 star the room was spacious and very clean and tidy with a small balcony too Staff including our chambermaid and all restaurant and reception staff were so welcoming and polite and made our stay so comfortable, I believe we were possibly the only English staying at the time and it made no difference we felt just as welcomed as everyone else !! Loved the property also the location is perfect !!! Restaurant salad is perfectly fresh , ideally could do with providing more carbs in the evening ie potatoes,fries or pasta daily|Disliked · It’s not I didn’t like , but being British and although a 2 star I did expect baked beans at breakfast,and one morning went out for breakfast as we both missed then that much. The evening soup is so watered down ,you can see through it ideally would of preferably wanted it even slightly thicker

Please dont lose your money and time to book a stay here. Rude attitude towards guests. The personal is not friendly and quiet aggressive.Not all the facilities included that they say they have. No wifi. No phone signal inside the builiding. You can hear when someone is flushing the toilet from the loby. The smell is something really real. Smells terrible. Save your money. Book somewhere else

We stayed at Hotel Mayna on a room only basis. The hotel was a little dated and in need of some modernisation. The rooms were spacious, clean and equipped with the basics. Safes were available at a €2 daily cost with a €10 refundable deposit. There was no shampoo, body wash or internet in the room. Some rooms had large terraces and outside dining sets with higher rooms having seaviews. Drinks and food were available at the hotels restaurant.||The location of the hotel was fantastic being just a short stroll from the shops, restaurants, supermarkets and beach. In our opinion the rooms could benefit from having free WiFi, a fridge and a hair dryer. Hair dryers were available at reception. During our stay we encountered two members of reception staff and both spoke excellent English and were helpful when enquiring about the market and the local buses. Rooms were cleaned every day, but it was possible to reduce the frequency at reception. We would definitely stay here again, because the hotel was fantastic value for money and central to amenities

Gutted I can't give this dump NIL stars. No fridge, no tea making facilities, no toiletries, no tv channels, no wifi. Aircon didn't come on until 1pm and switched off during the night. One tiny lift serving six floors. Staff unhelpful and rude. You have been warned!!

The hotel is a small Spanish hotel, it is directed towards the Spanish. The hotel is nice and clean, and the staff was friendly especially the waitress in the dining room. The big thing that let's it down is the food, there is not a big choice. It was chip's nearly every night, some nights there was 1 meat choice and fish. No gravy or sauce. There was not a very good choice of desserts either. The cleaner came in, made beds and the towels were changed nearly every other day it felt like. The sheets were changed at least twice.
