This was my second time stay at this hotel. I may not have paid as much attention during my prior visit in 2021 because I was there with my friends. My parents were with me this time.
It is definitely pricey—we paid Rs. 18k for two nights, and while I may not have noticed when I made the reservation, it did not include breakfast.
My problem was with the employees. While performing one's job well is vital, customers' comfort should not come at the expense of it. When the staff informed me that breakfast was not included in my package in the morning when we were served our own food, I replied that I would like to check my booking and pay if necessary.Even after I gave them my word, the staff came over three or four times while we were eating breakfast to ask for payment.
My parents are elderly and aware that we would be staying at the hotel for a considerable amount of time. We asked to have the set-up box turned on several times, but our requests went unanswered.
Although we did not anticipate receiving five-star service, sometimes a straightforward discussion, positive body language, and an effort to solve a problem are enough to make a customer feel good. I got the feeling that the staff were not keen to address our requests.
One suggestion for Team Agoda is to make it very clear on the booking voucher whether breakfast is included in the price of the room or not. When I was attempting to figure out the breakfast, I found your voucher and the app to be very confusing.
