Hotel Mayura Bhuvaneshwari

Stayed in the Semi AC Deluxe for 2 days. Was sceptical after reading many negative reviews but in my experience if one is looking for an average stay with safety, restaurant and parking space, near to all the attractions then it is a great choice for stay. The room and bathroom were clean, toiletries were provided. There is ample area to walk around. The place is very quiet and peaceful.

Person at the reception is a retired army personnel, extremely rude. Extremely arrogant and incompetent. He knows he is in a govt job and has nothing to loose. Wish I knew who he was before I booked. Please don't take the guide or the anyone else he suggests as well. Facilities: I had like 50 insects in my presidential suite, which is of course, your problem not the staffs. Monkeys roaming around so your children can't play by themselves. They are doing the bare minimum so the place doesn't fall apart. They have breakfast, but the cleanliness is horrible. Imagine you are turned down because they don't have enough plates or spoons. You can actually see food stuck to spoons. They have room service, but there is no service staff so you have to go get your own food.

Not a pleasant experience at this govt property. Very poor maintenance inside the room and around the property. Food is so so. The breakfast spread is decent. Sharing some photos of room number 302 which is an AC deluxe room. Pathetic condition of washroom door and mirror. The corridors are dimly lit. The restaurant roof is being redone so it is also in a bad shape. When we checked in and out there was no one to help us with the luggage. Overall very dissatisfied.

The property is nice, but not well kept. The couches in the main reception area stink and look unclean. Stray Dogs roam freely in the property. The person behind the front desk is indifferent and sluggish. We stayed in the wooden cottage, the rooms is big but wifi signal doesn't reach there. The shower doesn't work. The dining area is unclean and understaffed. They serve alcohol and non veg food and let's just say it doesn't attract the best of the crowd. On the website they have mentioned it to be a veg food restaurant. Not recommended for Couples and families with kids. We overpaid for very little amenities. Over all it was a let down.

This was my second time stay at this hotel. I may not have paid as much attention during my prior visit in 2021 because I was there with my friends. My parents were with me this time. It is definitely pricey—we paid Rs. 18k for two nights, and while I may not have noticed when I made the reservation, it did not include breakfast. My problem was with the employees. While performing one's job well is vital, customers' comfort should not come at the expense of it. When the staff informed me that breakfast was not included in my package in the morning when we were served our own food, I replied that I would like to check my booking and pay if necessary.Even after I gave them my word, the staff came over three or four times while we were eating breakfast to ask for payment. My parents are elderly and aware that we would be staying at the hotel for a considerable amount of time. We asked to have the set-up box turned on several times, but our requests went unanswered. Although we did not anticipate receiving five-star service, sometimes a straightforward discussion, positive body language, and an effort to solve a problem are enough to make a customer feel good. I got the feeling that the staff were not keen to address our requests. One suggestion for Team Agoda is to make it very clear on the booking voucher whether breakfast is included in the price of the room or not. When I was attempting to figure out the breakfast, I found your voucher and the app to be very confusing.

Very shabbily maintained. Toilets dont have exhaust fans. Toilet window rusted. Linen not clean. Hand towels not there. Dining room air-conditioning not working. Poor state of crockery. No fridge in room. Mirrirs tainted. Patches on walls. Inadequate staff so room service not done and dinner served very late in restaurant. Lots of mosquitoin open restaurant and no repellentwas provided. Towel hangar broken so had to chargethe room. Milk was smelly. Far too many problems to write.

Its karnataka tourism hotel. Food is good. Need perfection with salt. Very calm place. Family dining roof false ceiling are totally gone and angles are exposed. The furniture is very old except for the one in the bar. You can dine in the bar if you have no issues with liquor served over there. Parking is not an issue. Toilet facility is good. Ample place. Service is bit slow. Need to wait for minimum hAlf an hour and it will come one after other. But its good. We can share and eat. Except the slow service and poor furniture and fittings rest all good.

Place is Good. Location and view are also Good but Old hotel rooms. Service should be better. Fixed ac in our AC room was not working and night lamp was not on. Everything else is fine. Peacock calls can be heard from the hotel.The garden is beautiful.
