Hotel Mayura Velapuri Belur

We stayed here for a night last week and had a pleasant experience. The check-in and check-out processes were seamless. Despite being centrally located, the hotel is tucked away from the main road, offering a peaceful and quiet environment. The staff was courteous and helpful throughout our stay. Our non-AC room, booked for three, was clean and comfortable. The attached bathroom was well-maintained and provided hot water 24/7. We were impressed by the quality of food at the on-site restaurant, which offered a diverse menu.

The property is walking distance from the famous Belur temples and in the town.What surprised me was the quality of service from a government run organisation.Special mention for Mr Babu rao,Mr Shreyas, Suresh and Deepak. Rooms are decent and good value for money and so also is the food.There are food options nearby too which we did not try. Strongly recommend to book their top priced rooms as they are away from the sounds of the road.

We went to have dinner there at 8pm and it wasn't welcoming. They served stale chicken dish which he had to reject and they accepted it was bad, Though it was just 8pm they had no much options to serve and the things they had was already gone bad. Pathetic it was and we moved to another restaurant to fill our tummy

This is Govt Run KSTDC property... It's just like a Govt office run by govt people. Location is the USP of this hotel as it is Very near to temple , busstand and is on Main road. Rooms are Good but very old and maintained not so great. Lighting is Yellow in family rooms which is not eye friendly.

The hotel area is large with enough parking space. We booked the Non AC Double Room. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. There is no noise or disturbance on the property. Service and cleanliness was up to the mark as well. The hotel restaurant was also good. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A Lodging by Karnataka Government Tourism Department. Located close to Both KSRTC bus stop and Lord Chennakeshava Temple. Rooms provided were very hygiene and affordable for the facilities provided. Coming to the resturant it was very disappointing taste, not at all any food options, not all menu items are available only selected items. No food are served of our choice. Government to take action on the KSTDC resturants.

Centrally located and nice cottage property but our AC Deluxe room didn't have hot water for bathing. Corridors were all dirty. KSTDC should give the property to private players instead of trying to provide services which they are incompetent to manage.

We stayed in AC suite for 2 nights. Room are good and well furnished. Although the hotel is located in city centre just 500 mts from shree Chennakeshava temple, an UNESCO site it is calm and peaceful. Restaurant food is also good. Nice place to stay when visiting Belur and Halebeedu.
