The location of MDM Hotel is excellent—right in the heart of Warsaw with plenty of restaurants, shops, and easy access to trams and buses just steps away. It’s a very convenient base for exploring the city.
We stayed in a deluxe room which was quite basic in terms of decor, but very spacious and functional. It included a safe, a small fridge, a kettle, and tea/coffee (though no milk or cream provided). One thing that really stood out was how clean the room was—spotless every day, and I appreciated the thoughtful touch of a note left by the housekeeping team to say who had cleaned the room.
A few things could be improved: the towels were quite small, especially for adults, and the curtains didn’t fully cover the windows. This meant that in the evenings, the neighboring building across the way had a clear view inside. Also, while the room had plenty of lighting, turning them all on required navigating eight different switches—streamlining that would definitely make things easier.
A great feature was the water fountain on each floor offering still, sparkling, and chilled water—super convenient and eco-friendly. The bar area downstairs was lovely too, with a nice atmosphere and very reasonably priced drinks.
Breakfast was just okay—not bad, but nothing special. The hot options were limited (sausage, eggs, and oatmeal), and the rest mostly consisted of cold cuts, salad, bread, cereal, yogurts, and what looked like a cheesecake-style pudding.
There was some maintenance work happening during our stay, but it didn’t interfere with anything.
Overall, a very decent hotel with great service.
