Hotel Mediterraneo

The overall experience of the hotel was not the best I could understand why someone could have a positive experience (maybe me and my boyfriend were just unlucky) but in the future we definitely will not risk coming back. The buffet and snack bar were okay there was quite a bit of choice and the food was alright for the most part but we did notice that the chicken tends to be pink on the inside which was alarming. Another red flag is there are no security cameras in the corridors where the rooms are but there were cameras downstairs in the lobby. The first 2 nights were a bit colder and there was rain so we didn’t have bites at first but we started getting them in our room after it got hot so I was suspicious of bed bugs. We gave them the benefit of the doubt that maybe a spider came in when we left the door open but something wasn’t adding up so we checked the sides of the mattresses and there was nothing. But then we looked UNDERNEATH and we saw black dots everywhere. Naturally, my boyfriend was fuming so he immediately came downstairs to show the receptionists pictures of the mattress and the bites we had all over our bodies. The help we received was disappointing, instead of giving us a new room, they just changed the mattresses but the issue with bed bugs is they can be everywhere not just beds. On the day that we left no one told us our check out time so we assumed that our check out would be around same time as our bus transfer comes (around 5pm) so around 12pm the housekeeper knocks on the door and was confused telling us we shouldn’t be here, which wasn’t her fault as it’s not her responsibility to tell us the check out times and she was annoyed she couldn’t do her job. It’s the simple fact that nobody let us know and we felt like the inconvenience for still being here. With that being said I wouldn’t recommend coming here but if you do pls do it at your own risk because now me and my boyfriend risked bringing the bed bugs home. As paying customers we were definitely better off staying elsewhere.

2nd visit to this hotel, really cannot fault it at all. Very helpful staff especially the lovely Teri who is an absolute legend. The entertainers are wonderful, some fun activities for children during the day and evening too, our children won certificates, made crafts to take home and even won bags! Good entertainment in the evening too. |Plenty of choice at meal times, not a huge choice of snacks but always something you could have. Our 13 year old ate like a king and even the fussy 4 year old ate well too!|The hotel is spotlessly clean, always had a decent night sleep, even had a bottle on wine in the room for being a returning guest!|Great visit, cannot wait to return

Really enjoyed staying here. First time in Benidorm. Check in was easy, friendly staff. Rooms are clean and spacious with balcony. Working fridge and iron in room with TV also. I was all inclusive and the food and drink choice was great. There was also an outside bar and snack bar that had lots of options. Definitely would stay again if I come back to Benidorm

LOVE THIS HOTEL! Been back three times And enjoyed every visit! The staff are friendly! The house keepers do a wonderful job The entertainers are amazing! And are fabulous to have a laugh with! The bar staff are brilliant! Again you can have a laugh with them. The food is stunning! They have a mixture that will suit everyone! The waiters in the dining area are very hard working, they work at a fast pace, and are just wonderful

What an absolute fabulous hotel. Second time staying here and Terri and other staff remembered from 6 years ago. All staff are courteous and always greet you with a smile. Around 15/20 minute walk down to the beach if you like walking and out of the hustle and bustle of the night life. Situated right opposite Benidorm palace which is a must to see one of their shows. We went half board as like to explore. The food is plentiful and always nice and hot. Very reasonably priced for drinks too. We would highly recommend staying at this beautiful family oriented hotel 👌

Just returned from a 4 night stay, the first thing I noticed was how clean it was , there always seemed to be cleaners around, also the pool was always clean , I’ve noticed other hotels where the water was a bit murky at the end of the day but this was spotless. I enjoyed the selection of food but there was hardly anything for my vegan daughter, I think out of the 5 days there was one pasta sauce she could have so apart from potatoes and chips she didn’t eat much and absolutely nothing for breakfast for her, we wasn’t expecting much but it was pretty abysmal , there wasn’t even any dietary information. We enjoyed the all inclusive drinks though, there was a cocktail of the day but the bar staff would always make any cocktails you wanted. The entertainment was a bit random but good fun and the entertainment team were really good. The rooms were a good size we had a terrace which was nice. The hotel is in a good location opposite the Benidorm palace and a pleasant 15-20 minute walk to the beach with bars and shops on the way, all in all it was a pleasant stay. Our all inclusive finished at 4 on the last day but we could use the pool and they gave us a room to shower before our transport picked us up at 8pm for our late flight , The staff were friendly. I would definitely stay again.

Rooms were clean but dated and cleaners were lovely! That is the only positive I have about the hotel. Food was absolutely terrible worse all inclusive we have ever had, not much choice of drinks and what is available is cheap and nasty the pool with the slides was dirty and the baby pool with the frog slide was disgusting. The snack bar was ok! Staff I found not to be very friendly or approachable. We did have a 20min walk just to find a restaurant to eat a decent meal. Kids got bored very easily and entertainment was not the best.

A bit out of the way. Opp benidorm palace. Used taxis a few times as cannot walk too far. Changed rooms from shower over bath to walk in shower room. Very accommodating. Great staff especially behind bar!! Nothing was too much for them!! Night entertainment was very poor!!
