Hotel Mediterraneo Sorrento

We were lucky enough to stay at this wonderful hotel for a week in early October, and it truly is a very special place. What sets it apart is the incredible staff, they elevate the whole experience to another level. Everyone is Italian, which adds to the authentic charm, and they simply can’t do enough for their guests.||A special mention must go to Pina in Guest Relations, who went above and beyond to help us organize tickets and transport to a Napoli game, a wonderful experience we’ll treasure forever.||Our room was exceptionally clean, and the public areas were both classy and elegant. The pool was the perfect spot to soak up the sun and relax with a good book.||Breakfast each morning, with its breathtaking views over the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius, was an absolute highlight. The hotel’s location is ideal too, just a pleasant twenty-minute walk from the centre of Sorrento, where you can stroll, dine, and enjoy a perfect Italian coffee.||We can’t wait to return!

What an amazing place! Beautiful, modern hotel with an amazing view both from our room, the restaurant, and the rooftop bar. The pool is a great set-up as well. Best part of our stay was the staff. The staff at the front desk (especially Ainello!), the pool and lobby bar staff, and everyone else we encountered were just so nice and helpful - can't thank them enough. Highly recommend a stay here!

We had a fantastic time at Hotel Mediterraneo. First of all the hotel is amazing and in a great location right near the water. Our room was beautiful. The staff was exceptional including the concierge, porters, and staff at Vesuvio restaurant and Sky Bar. We did several tours through the hotel including Amalfi/Positano/Ravello, Vesuvius and a wine tasting, an olive oil tour, and more. Americo our driver was fantastic—fun, informative, knowledgeable, and a skilled driver/tour guide. I highly recommend asking for him!||We can’t wait to come back!

Overall this is an excellent hotel. Very clean, with excellent customer service. |Sky bar views are amazing even if the food/drinks are expensive. |Breakfast is excellent with amazing views and first class service. |Rooms are very well appointed but a bit small. |Location is a bit remote from Sorrento city centre with not too much going on in the vicinity. Shuttle bus service is excellent though. |Pool area is very good but again the food/drink at the pool bar is expensive. |Overall I would highly recommend this hotel as it is beautiful with amazing staff and service. Only let down by the size of the rooms.

This is one of the best luxury hotels in Sorrento! The staff is amazing and takes such good care of you. The hotel manager arranged my transfers from Naples airport and took care of dinner reservations. The bartender, Giovanni at the pool makes the best cocktails and gives outstanding customer service! Book this hotel and you won’t be disappointed! I can’t wait to return next summer!

The Hotel Mediterraneo Sorrento was fabulous. It is in the perfect location. Our deluxe sea view room was a little piece of heaven. The staff is incredibly helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable. The breakfast buffet is included and they serve the most beautiful and delicious food anyone could ask for. This hotel rooftop bar is amazing for watching sunsets. We could not have asked for a more incredible, relaxing home away from home. It is worth every penny!

Our stay at Hotel Mediterraneo was simply a dream – an unforgettable experience that we enjoyed from beginning to end. The hotel impresses not only with its beautiful location but especially with its outstanding service and warm atmosphere. The entire staff – whether at the hotel or on the beach – was always friendly, helpful, and attentive. We were constantly greeted with a smile and made to feel truly welcome. Culinary-wise, our experience was a true highlight: delicious, carefully prepared meals and a wide selection of high-quality drinks left nothing to be desired. Each day began and ended with a moment of indulgence. We would also like to highlight the excellent shuttle service, which made our outings comfortable and stress-free. Everything was perfectly coordinated – from punctuality to the friendliness of the drivers. In short, Hotel Mediterraneo is a place where relaxation, enjoyment, and hospitality are lived to the fullest. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and are already looking forward to our next visit.

My wife and I just spent our honeymoon here and it was absolutely perfect. The facilities are immaculate, the rooms are pristine, and above all the staff were the best I’ve ever experienced at any hotel, resort, you name it. An especially big shout out to Aniello and the front desk for going the extra mile to take care of us and make sure our honeymoon was as special as possible!
