Hotel Meliá Habana

A wonderful stay at the Melia Habana Hotel. The service from our housekeeper, Yadira García, was simply magnificent. This young woman is a shining example of excellence. I highly recommend requesting one of the rooms she usually attends; you won't regret it. She is polite, kind, attentive, respectful, and always willing to help with anything you need. Everything you could wish for in a perfect family stay. She makes you feel right at home.||Susana.

Fabulous and wonderful experience. Beautiful grounds and rooms, delicious and well priced food, excellent service, gorgeous views, incredibly clean, rooms had everything you need and I had to make no calls for additional supplies of anything. Close enough to Old Habana and taxi service is extremely easy to get from the hotel. The room was quiet and relaxing. The outdoor lounge area with different restaurants and food trucks was great.

One of the best hotel i’ve ever been! Customer service at the hotel is phenomenal!! Whatever you need there is and more. Evenings are beautiful with live music with quality restaurants and days go by with the best bartenders at the pool area that is clean and nice!

My girlfriend and I shared a marvelous night in "La Bella Cubana" Restaurant at Melia Habana Hotel celebrating our anniversary. The mix between japanese traditional food, classic international japanese-style food and Cuban "sazon" was always present. The Restaurant has a really simple but pretty design where you can pick more sociable or private tables. Furniture is comfortable and music taste and volume were magnificent. The attention waitress Jennifer gave us was unique, close and friendly but professional and non-invasive at the same time. Chef Jorge was just wonderful, not just the flavor and presentation of all dishes we asked for (we ate 6 dishes each, we just couldn't stop eating), but he's presence around the hall always concerned about guests' experience and food taste. We will certainly come back and strongly recommend it.

I had pretty low expectations going to Havana but I still wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The rooms must be 40 years old and not renovated, they were filthy and only once in a three night stay was our room cleaned, we had to go to reception to ask for towels.||Most of the staff are rude and miserable. The worst thing apart from the service was the food, it was really bad. I only had breakfast once as there was no choice. We are in the Italian restaurant which was average and the street food was barely edible. The photos online look nothing like the actual hotel.||Would not recommend

My stay at Meliá Habana was nothing short of wonderful. The hotel combines comfort, elegance, and authentic Cuban warmth in a way that makes you feel both relaxed and well cared for. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and many offer breathtaking views of the sea. The pool area is truly a highlight, beautifully designed, with plenty of space to lounge and enjoy the sun.||What stood out the most, however, was the service. Every staff member I met was friendly and professional, but Rocío and Rossmary were absolutely the best. Their warmth, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality made my experience unforgettable. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and I truly appreciated their kindness.||The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of fresh and delicious options, and the hotel restaurants provided excellent dining experiences. The location is also convenient, with easy access to both Havana’s historic center and the seaside.||Whether for business or leisure, Meliá Habana is a perfect choice if you want comfort, quality, and a touch of luxury while experiencing Cuba. Thanks especially to Rocío and Rossmary, I would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Havana.

I gave this hotel three stars because of the service otherwise I would’ve given it a one star. The service was amazing. Hotel employees were very helpful and kind but as for the room, it was horrible. The AC barely worked, and there was hardly any outlets to plug-in devices to charge. After telling the staff that the AC seemed to be broken in our room, they sent a technician in and the technician agreed the AC wasn’t working and that we needed a different room, but we waited about four hours before we even got a different room because the concierge could not change our room and had to wait for management to do it When we finally did get a different room the AC did not work in that room either. It seemed like the AC was out in most of the hotel because the lobby’s AC did not seem to be working either, I felt bad for the employees as they were also affected by the heat and were seen carrying fans with them. As for the other amenities, the pool does look beautiful in pictures but when using it you realize that it’s missing quite a few tiles on the bottom and there is algae growing on the walls of the pool. I’m sure that in its day it was an amazing hotel but now it’s rundown and in need of repairs. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone and will not be going there again.

The staff were exceptionally kind and professional. My stay was truly wonderful, offering both comfort and excellent service. I would gladly return and highly recommend this place to others.
