Check in - amazing. Thanks for the welcome chocolate too!|Room - beautiful standard double room. Very comfortable, well stocked mini bar. En suite was a great size with plenty of toiletries. Couldn't fault the room, at all|Breakfast - i emailed the hotel directly to convey my appreciation to the breakfast team. The team were amazing. The worked tirelessly to ensure that the breakfast offerings were well stocked. Even at their busiest time (and boy was it busy!) they did their work with professionalism, courtesy and a genuine regard for a positive customer experience. I write this review from my hotel room on day 3 with still another night remaining.|LOCATION - perfect! 250m from the main train station where the train from the airport arrives. A short walk through the shopping mall and the hotel awaits! A few minutes walk ti the gates of the Old Town followed by a stroll across the river tk the Jewish quarter. All of the city is beautiful, spotlessly clean and so very cheap.|We will definitely be staying here again and this hotel will be our first choice!

You can really feel the attention to detail and the connection to the region. The rooms are beautifully designed, with modern, stylish bathrooms – simply fantastic. Our Bloom Project graduation celebration at Mercure Kraków Stare Miasto was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, the service and hospitality we received were absolutely outstanding. The team went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our event was taken care of with professionalism, warmth, and genuine care. The decorations for our graduation party were breathtaking — elegant, creative, and thoughtfully tailored. It was clear that a lot of effort and heart went into every element of the setup, and it created the perfect atmosphere for our celebration. We were genuinely moved by how beautiful everything looked. No request was too big or too small. The staff was attentive, flexible, and incredibly supportive throughout our entire stay. They made us feel welcomed, valued, and celebrated — and that made all the difference. We can’t thank the Mercure team enough for helping make this milestone moment so special. It was an unforgettable week, and we’re deeply grateful for their part in making it happen. Highly recommended — they will exceed your expectations!

I chose the Mercure for its location and it didn’t disappoint. It is right across the street from a large Galleria/mall. And Krakow Glowny train station is connected to that mall. Just a 10 minute walk around behind the hotel is Old Town. So really everything is convenient. Food, shopping, and transit. ||I was warmly welcomed by the staff after my very delayed train arrived. They were so helpful with my questions and I was able to check my luggage with them after check out the next morning so I could explore easily until my evening train. ||The standard rooms are good sized for 1-2 people. I felt I had plenty of space and storage. The bathroom was also fine and spacious. Some reviews here mention that things are small but I didn’t find that to be true, especially considering many of the tiny rooms I’ve seen throughout Europe. Beds are comfortable and the furnishings are well kept. ||I didn’t have time to try the food or restaurant there as I had an early morning tour. But there are so many food options around you will easily find something to suit your tastes and budget. ||Some of the downsides are that the hotel is located on a very busy street. Traffic is extreme and noise can be high in the area. There is no refrigerator in the room. Just a minibar with the usual high prices. Go to the Zabka around the corner for convenience snacks and drinks. ||The staff are wonderful. You’ll receive a fresh baked bagel when you check out and they are delicious. Any questions you have they are happy to answer and they will welcome you back. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a truly excellent experience at Hotel Mercure Kraków Stare Miasto. The staff deserve a special mention for being extremely kind, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. We hosted a 3-day seminar here, and everything ran perfectly thanks to their exceptional support. Our sincere thanks! We look forward to returning without hesitation.

Very good hotel in a fantastic location. Very central to the Main Square and old town and all attractions are walkable on foot. In fact it really is in the heart of Krakow! ||FANTASTIC mall 1 minute walk away accross the road with all the top retail brands and amazing food choices. Also within the mall is the main train station of the city which is very easy to get to from the airport (less than 30 mins) so very handy and cheap in terms of airport access! ||Hotel was very clean, stylish, and nice. Quite quirky and good amenities - staff were ok. For a 4 star hotel I would expect there to be conditioner and body lotion in the bathroom (there isn’t, only shampoo and shower gel) and a TV with free channels (there wasn’t - we had to use YouTube which kept defaulting to Polish). It was good value for money but I’m not sure this hotel is 4 star worthy. The staff were helpful but we felt like we weren’t treated as good as other guests (for example they were giving our bagels and chocolate to all guests and we didn’t get either - we don’t know why!) so there lacks consistency and it also wasn’t very accommodating (I had made a special request for a birthday and it was ignored).||I’d stay here again for location and price but nothing compels me to return, though I would thank them for a pleasant stay.

The location of the hotel is perfect, with everything we needed close by, so there was no need for a car at all. The service was good overall, although some staff could be more friendly. Mr. Giorgioo was very supportive during our stay and had excellent communication with us, helping us feel welcome. The standard room was too small for us, but he gave us all the support we needed to change to a room type that suited us better. Our stay was amazing, and we truly enjoyed how convenient the location was.

The hotel and rooms were absolutely beautiful! The staff were exceptional always friendly and ready to help with anything. They greeted us with warm smiles every time. The breakfast was fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious regional specialties.
