Hôtel Mercure Peyragudes Loudenvielle

We loved this hotel truly beautiful surroundings - river near by and amazing views! The staff was super friendly and helpful - the only thing that I will say is that the room are small and it doesnt match the price! Also I had a facial which wasnt cheap and they put a trainee who didnt really perform. I was a bit disappointed because we paid a lot of money for our treatments there and had unexperienced people to do the job.

We stayed 2 nights at this wonderful hotel with our children (10 and 7) en route to Bilbao for a ferry home after exploring across France. What a wonderful place this is! The hotel room utterly exceeded our expectations - there was a double bed with en-suite bathroom for us and a separating door, a single bed in a cute little nook and a double sofa bed. The room was huge and with two bathrooms was more than ample! We had beautiful Mountain View’s from the balcony. Everything seemed brand new the carpet was squishy, most comfortable beds and pillows, everything was exceptionally clean and well presented, and I appreciated little touches like the vanity packets and slippers and robes. We ate in the restaurant which had good choice and was very good quality. We had to wait rather a long time on our second night for food with tired children which was a shame (a rugby team had turned up to stay but hotel should have been able to manage). But staff were otherwise v attentive, we had drinks in the bar on both nights. We also made use of the table top and outdoor games which are a great facility with children. The pool was divine, lively and warm with amazing views, truly special. We also appreciated options such as takeaway picnic lunches and early (5.30am) breakfast option for when we had to leave to catch a ferry.||We did not have time to visit the spa and did not make use of the discounts with intersport but I can see how these would be valuable especially in ski season. Truly fantastic place if we ever come back to the Pyrenees I would love to stay longer in this gem! Much more like a 5 star hotel.

Comfortable, friendly, modern hotel in centre of village with restaurants and other facilities nearby. Beautiful view from our balcony over the mountains. Excellent breakfast.|So why not 5 star ? Simply that the room was quite small for an extended stay and crucially the balcony was very small indeed. This was made worse by the wholly inappropriate use of deck chairs for which there was no room.|Nevertheless a very pleasant hotel.

Well appointed rooms in this superbly located hotel. Courteous Staff go above and beyond to meet guests enjoyment of facilities and solve any problems. Amazing breakfast with everything you could wish for. Spent 3 days in quiet location with splendid view, couldn’t have been happier.

Hotel room and services were great. Beautiful view of the park and the mountains. Great breakfast with a lot of choices. Only thing to be improved is the check in attention: we were left in front of the desk some minutes from the personnel before anyone took care of us.

Loved this hotel in every aspect. We had a room with balcony over the park, it was amazing and if it were a little hotter I'd have stayed there for hours. The breakfast was really good, the room was clean and spacious, the parking was big and without problems. Of course the hotel is expensive, but I don't regret it.

We absolutely loved our stay in Loudenvielle and at this hotel. Everything was perfect, clean and organised. The breakfast was superb and the rooms spacious. It was our first time to Loudenvielle and we will be back- thank you!!

Definitely one of the best hotels in the Pyrenees! Comfortable beds, quiet rooms (good soundproofing), great breakfast (lots of options), good restaurant and bar, great views, well heated pool, and very friendly staff. Also amazing location, right at the lake in between the mountains, with many activities to do (hiking, paragliding, mountain bike circuits, etc.) A must-stay when you’re in the Pyrenees!
