This modern hotel is a comfy retreat near the city center with top-notch amenities, including a lively restaurant, gym, and the best breakfast in Poland.
We recently stayed at Hotel Mercure Poznań Centrum and opted for a Privilege Room, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish.
Room:
The Privilege Room was spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with thoughtful amenities that elevated our stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the upgraded features like the Nespresso machine, complimentary soft drinks in the minibar, and premium toiletries added a touch of luxury. The soundproofing was excellent – we didn’t hear a thing from the bustling city outside.
Location:
The location couldn’t have been better. It’s right in the city center, making it easy to explore Poznań. We were within walking distance of the Old Market Square and other major attractions. It is also well connected to trams and buses.
Dining:
Breakfast was a highlight of our stay. The buffet had an impressive variety of fresh options, from local specialties to classic breakfast dishes.
Service:
The staff were exceptional. From check-in to check-out, everyone we encountered was professional, friendly, and eager to help. They made us feel truly welcome.

The hotel is conveniently located just outside of the old town and so is somewhat quieter. The staff and service is amazing. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is the best I've had. Wonderful stay.

I had to book a stay in Poznan for transit only hence the choice of hotel close to the train station. At the time I did not realise that I would be staying in a very historic hotel. It was interesting to read all about it in the lobby. Unexpected bonus to a nice stay.||The hotel is very modern. My room was incredibly spacious for one person. So was the bathroom. All spotless and bright. Brilliant idea to have water dispensers in the hall and a caraffe to fill with water yourself. I drink loads of water so this was welcome. Usually hotels leave one small bottle which I would drink in a minute and be left thirsty.||I was arriving very late so I asked if I could have a meal delivered to my room before the restaurant closes. I had to pay for it ahead of time using slightly confused process via email but it was worth it and the meal was very good. I also managed to grab a lovely glass of wine in the lively bar before they closed at midnight.||Breakfast, while pricey, was very good. Large selection of healthy and less-healthy foods - something for everyone. Offering was fresh and tasty. Coffee was nice and the service excellent.||All the staff across the hotel were friendly and helpful. The checkin and checkout was super easy. The proximity to the train station was a big plus for me. ||All in all 10/10 with a few caveats:||I was woken up by very loud music and shouting through microphone and speakers. It occurred later that it was Poznan Expo event nearby. Unfortunately I could not sleep after 8am which was disappointing becuase I really needed that rest. Not hotel's fault but I guess something to keep in mind.||The single beds seemed very narrow. I don't know if it was just me but I almost fell off the bed multiple times throughout the night.||Bar staff, while friendly enough, seemed tired and eager to close for the night. Maybe it was because of a large and loud group of guests at the time. But I didn't feel overly welcome.||The location was a bit odd. It is very close to old town and transport but immediate hotel surroundings are not particularly pleasant to look at. Felt deserted after dark.
