The hotel is ideally situated close to the train station and between it and the Petite France area. It is just a short walk to the tram stop from which you can travel to most areas of the city. We bought three day passes for less than the price of a one day pass in Paris, and were able to hop on and off trams all day, even fitting in a trip to Germany (Kehl, just across the Rhine) by tram.
We had a Privilege room on the third floor looking out on to the pedestrianised Rue du Maire Kuss, and were not bothered by noise day or night. The room was large and modern, with two soft chairs (often there is only one with a hard chair). There was a coffee machine and the pods were replenished daily, as well as a fridge with complimentary water and soft drinks. These weren't always replenished during our six night stay but there is a machine dispensing water on the ground floor so we were never without water at least.
The bathroom had a shower over the bath, which might have been awkward if we had been a few years older; presumably there were other rooms with no bath but we hadn't specifically requested one. Everything worked, though the soap dispenser at the sink ran out and the maid failed to react to my putting a bar of soap on top of it! Again, we didn't ask for it to be refilled.
A good feature was that our room was refreshed before lunch time every day so we were able to return in the afternoon between excursions if we wanted to. There is no restaurant but the continental breakfast was excellent, with a wide choice including fresh orange juice an a limited selection of fresh fruit.
The staff members were friendly and helpful, and the whole experience was excellent.
