Hôtel Mercure Toulon La Seyne-Sur-Mer

Great hotel that I use now and again for work trips. Very pleasant bar area with cozy corners, chess and outside terrace with pool. Bar staff Paul and bar manager (Grégoire ?) were great and looked after us well, despite having to deal with a guest who was not happy that his free welcome drink was only half a pint of beer and not a whole pint 🤣. Beds very comfy, black-blinds work great, and the view of the marina / bay is lovely. Rooms are clean and modern. The restaurant next in the same building is excellent with a good wine list and great service too.

We have been using Accor hotels for years due to good price quality ratio. This hotel is to be avoided, staff is neither welcoming nor helpful. As my husband is Accor platinum member we always get welcoming drinks, one each, but when my husband requested 2 drinks the bartender refused it in a very rude manner. My husband is handicapped and uses 2 crutches to walk, but the bartender still felt intimidated by him and called the police. None of the staff could resolve this issue or simply did not want to. When the police came administrator lied to them stating that 2 persons only get 1 drink, making it seem that our request for 2 drinks was outrageous. It is written in Accor rules that silver and above member AND his accompanying guests get a welcome drink each. This all happened within 30 min from our check in and completely ruined our stay. Also as there are only paper cups available in the room my husband asked for a normal cup for coffee at the reception and was advised to take it from the bar. Again he uses 2 crutches for walking, and everyone can see it, so why not offer to just bring cups to his room?! He cannot carry anything. What is it if not a complete lack of customer focus ? I guess we will never know as the hotel only replies to positive reviews and completely ignores any criticism.

I have stayed at this property since it was new, at least once a year, often several times a year. Staff is great, very friendly and easy to work with. That does not make up for the fact my room stayed too warm to sleep, regardless of thermostat settings and with outside temperatures below 10C. WiFi was horrible, traveling on business, connectivity is a must, downloading or sending an email with an attachment was painful.

Avoid this hotel and its untrained staff, My wife and i were insulted and refused our welcome drinks, when we approached the manager he refused to speak with us and called the police, we are platinum members who use accor hotels all over the world. Avoid this one it is shameful and a disgrace to the Accor name.

Stays : from August 11 to 22 , 2025! The location isn’t the issue. 1. The room service was bad, with dirty in the bathroom wall like it was not cleaned for a very long time. The cleaning service is very bad above all like you let trash by mistake before the service and 8/10 chance that you will likely see it when you’re back. 2. There was no AC when we arrived for 2 or 3 long days ( I’ve been noticed when I asked about it to the desk) 3. The bartender was nice but I had an arguement with the responsible of the desk because there was a problem linked to the reconciliation between the bar’s books and the desk’s one after a drink I had. In fact they told me that I haven’t paid for 7 euro the drink I had which was not registered at the front desk but they found out there was 7 euro of gap btw the two books… a very annoying situation… 4. I was supposed to live very early in the morning so I checked out the night before living. I was just supposed to let the card into the box so at 3 am. in the morning i was packing when the night officer told me that she wasn’t noticed about the night departure and i said to her that I paid everything already but she insisted and waisted my time. After her verification, she realised that i owed nothing but she insisted with her idea that she hadn’t the information. I said to her that it was not my problem because I planned to go and that’s what I did. So my overall experience was very bad. For the price, i think the service should have been better. I do not think 4 stars is the standard of this hotel. They deserve the half. ⭐️ ⭐️

I had the opportunity to spend a night with my two children. The room was impeccably clean, the pool was excellent, and the reception staff was very welcoming. The breakfast had a variety of high-quality food options. I highly recommend this place as it is conveniently located near the port, a park, and many shops.

A great place to stay if you want to spend a long weekend in Toulon. They have great staff, a lovely pool and a relaxing area to have a drink or just read a book.

We appreciated the privileged suite with views of the port and marina. The hotel is relatively new, with modern furniture. Very spacious room with adequate service. We'll come back.
