The area of the hotel was noisy and dirty. The only convenience was your in the colonial zone. The hotel itself was not good. The rooms are small and they have a roach problem. I had 3 roaches crawl on me while I was sleeping. The front desk personnel don't speak English but are friendly. They serve breakfast but theirs no choices. You get what they give you. I won't recommend this hotel.

The place is good for 1 night if desperate. However, after making reservations for 3 rooms the day off we were given a hard time about the room availability. We were asked to pay the difference for bigger rooms because they did not have available what we requested. Eventually, they granted the other rooms without extra charge as it's not our fault they did not update their website. The lighting in the rooms were terrible. Very dim. There was no remote control for the AC. There was no toilet paper in one room, no towels in another and third room smelled as if someone had just smoked in there. The rooms looked clean as far as we could see with the dim lighting, thought I did see a small roach pass by the headboard of the bed. Also, the area seemed sketchy and made our group uneasy to linger outside longer than necessary at night. Location is nice during the day because its in the colonial area and theres lots of stores but the place just transforms into something else at night. This place does not have parking though it claims to do so. We were advised to park in front of the hotel for surveillance.

Went to visit SD for the weekend and my friend picked this hotel because we wanted to be close to the main strip in the Colonial Zone. Our driver told us to be careful because this was a rough part of town and he was right! Not the safest outside the hotel at all. However, the hotel does a good job of keeping the riff raff out. The rooms are very small and really only suitable for short stays and one person. The rooms can’t be bigger than 8x8 and the bathrooms are even tinier. There’s no way to stand directly in front of the sink without your leg touching the toilet. Also, many rooms do not have windows and the WiFi is quite spotty. After 10pm, you must pay $10 for guests. The breakfast was very good though. And the front desk staff was very hospitable and professional.

The price is good and it’s close to Zona Colonial. I wasn’t a fan of the customer service, the receptionist was sarcastic in a rude way! Even though I spoke Spanish to him he wasn’t very communicative. He never offered the breakfast to us! The bathroom light wasn’t working in our room & the sink was clogged. The pictures are a lie! We ended up leaving had such a bad experience there! I also forgot to mention we booked this through the hopper app & he couldn’t find our reservation.

Hotel is a mediocre place to stay just for a night. Hotel is OK, they have some very useful and kind workers there. The problem is the area. Definitely not a safe area for tourists. If you do stay here, please be careful because of the area.

The only decent thing about this place is the price and the close proximity to everything. The rooms DO NOT look like the pictures that the hotel posted, the streets are littered with garbage, the locals start blasting latin music from 8am - 9pm seven days a week, the phones in the rooms and at reception do not work, so if u have any issue or need anything u must go down to reception; there are 5 floors and no elevators, there's a lot of outside noise, a lot of quarrels and fights outside at night on the weekend, the hotel staff are not helpful and they do their best to try cheat you out of your money. They have a hotel taxi that will charge you 2 to 5 times the amount of regular taxi or uber. I ordered breakfast and got 2 dry pieces of toast, 1 egg and 2 sausage links... they advertised the breakfast for $5 USD and then told me the breakfast cost $10 USD.

It might have been fine, but despite our communication of our late arrival, and them holding a card, they gave our room away. I added a point because the staff was helpful and friendly and helped us find another room (though it took forever and was a bad hotel, but such is life). They emailed that if we wanted to guarantee the room, we should make a payment and offered to send the link to pay. I asked for the link and they never sent it.
