The room is small and has one window to the gallery. The room has a safe but doesn't have a refrigerator. This hotel is not cheap and it seemed to me there was a refrigerator anyway in this hot climate. The room is clean but the floor is not washed. And this room has Narnia's escape though a closet. There are a door into a hidden balcony inside a closet. The stuff is really nice! The location is perfect - you can go to the city center trough the restaurant. The breakfast is good but not large. (Green juice is terrible but orange juice is really tasty!)

We loved this hotel. The building is old and characterful. Location superb too. Having breakfast, lunch or dinner in the courtyard felt such a lovely experience. One of our rooms was a bit noisy as it was on the restaurant side but other than that this was a great stay on our Mexico tour.

Beautiful hotel with an authentic style. In the city center so everything is easy to reach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for two nights and we got some excellent tips and help in making reservations for a restaurant and a guide at Chichen Itza from Pedro at the reception desk. ||The only point for improvement would be breakfast. We had to wait quite long for a table and for food to actually be served, which made it impossible for us to be at Chichen Itza early to avoid the crowds and the heat.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. We got help at the front desk to book a private guide to Chichèn Itzá and the experience was fantastic, professional, hassle-free and on a fair price. Breakfast at the patio of the hotel was a dream, and the bar restaurant on the terrace, overlooking the church and the square, priceless!

The hotel was bigger than I expected and I was left with a certain feeling of insignificance after checking in. Which is fine I guess. Room were clean and the breakfast was excellent, with super friendly service from our attendant.

Probably the best decision I've made in my trip to Cancun was to spend two nights at the Menson del Marques. The hotel is beautiful and charming. It's not luxurious, but it's so quaint and elegant and at the center of town. There was free parking and good WIFi at the hotel. There is also a restaurant at the hotel, which may just be the best restaurant in town, especially if you're a picky eater or traveling with kids. That's because they have a wider variety of food that includes local, European, and American cuisines. The staff are super friendly. The rooms were good (not great). If you are looking for luxury, I don't recommend it. But we got the room with the balcony facing the pool. It was also on the 3rd floor, where they have a nice seating area and a beautiful view of the park across the street. The town of Valladolid is supee cute with TONS of local shops. Go walk around and explore. It felt super safe for us. At no moment did we feel unsafe. By the way, things at the hotel, including in it's restaurant is more expensive than in the local shops. As an example, a water bottle there is $3, and there are places in yown where you can buy water bottles for $1 each. Coffe is also more expensive, around $6. Meanwhile, across the street, you can buy coffee for $3. With that being said eating at their restaurant is an amazing experience so you should have at least some meals there aside from the included (optional) breakfast. One word of caution: I can be a little noisy in the evenings due to the songs from the restaurant and from the town (local bands will play at the park across the street).Early in the mornings, you will hear loud birds. They will wake you up. If you are picky abou that you may want to bring ear plugs, but that didn't bothers us because it wasn't too much that we couldn't handle and we welcomed the birds singing to us in the morning.

Excellent stay and service. I would say the double beds are a bit smaller than usual. The design is absolutely beautiful though and all the food service amazing.

First of all they had the wrong number of guests and they tried to charge me more. Thankfully I had a copy of the confirmation and they accepted that. Secondly the room we were given was overlooking the interior courtyard with early morning noise from the breakfast area in the interior courtyard and at night time the same for dinner . Lastly and the most annoying fact was that we discovered upon checkout that they would not take our luggage and store it for 3 hours because they were full and prioritising incoming guests . That caused an extra charge for us as there was not point in waiting around to watch our luggage and we had to buy new bus tickets to depart Valladolid early . Really not a good hotel . They bank on the location and whatever historical location but that's all . Go elsewhere and avoid

Yelp
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was one of the more expensive options I looked at, but I'm glad we picked it. It came with daily breakfast, which had a good selection of options and included bread, coffee, and juice. Ours came with a visit to a cenote as well, which was a highlight. So it felt like a good deal in the end. Our room was nice, the location was perfect, and the staff was great. We would for sure stay there again. There was some construction going on during the day that was loud, but it was otherwise quiet, even with being in the center of town.

Yelp
We love this hotel right off the square in Valladolid. Parking right on site, swimming pool, hot tub (not that hot) ... the absolute best part is sitting on the 4th floor terrace at dusk when all the birds fly into the square for their evening gathering. It's really quite magical. Cons: Never got a shower because the water never got hot and the toilet clogged, but we're paper-wasting Americans, so I'll take the blame for that. The staff is really nice. This was our second stay and will not be our last, I predict.

Yelp
We stayed at the end of November and it was good. The bathroom was something to worry about as when we flushed we would wonder if it would flush all the way. There isn't a vent except a window, so be kind to your other fellow travelers. They have parking that's guarded which is a double plus. The wifi was also good. We stayed in the older building with the older rooms, but I felt that we stayed in a penthouse. It was fantastic. It's also located in the heart of Valladolid so it was nice to just walk around the city and come back. We also got free breakfast which was a lot of food. We were able to take some of it to go which was great for our trip to Chichen Itza. Good place for a one night stay.

Yelp
If ever one of my reviews deserved 5 stars, this is it! Can't get over the quality of my experience here. This is a fantastic place to stay! The service is wonderful from the moment you walk in the door. They helped me with parking, the bell boy helped me take my bags to my room and gave me information about the facility and services... they are multi lingual, which is much appreciated. The room was great- clean and modern, well furnished. The location is perfect... the food in the restaurant is great. My only complaint is that I couldn't stay longer!

Yelp
Terrible experience. Left with a choice between using a noisy air conditioner or opening an unscreened window, we tried the window. Only to be attacked by a squadron of mosquitoes. Then sometime past midnight someone started using a skilsaw to cut boards in the courtyard. And again used the saw thirty minutes later. Tried to use the shower in the morning only to find a hole in the bathtub that leaked water all over the bathroom floor. Avoid the hotel and if you do stay, say no to room 213.

Yelp
Okay... first things first: we only had lunch at the restaurant of this hotel. And it was aweful. The one star is for the ambience and art on the wall. Once we were seated, it took a while before someone took our drinks order. It was pretty hot so we were pretty thirsty. Unfortunately it also took them a while to serve our drinks. For my main I ordered the pork chops which according to our server was a local specialty. When it came out, the pork chops were cold. As in, they've been out there for quite some time. I sent it back, and some hot ones came out a few minutes later. They were ok but definitely nothing special or tasty. I ate 1 (they were thin slices) and left the rest. My dish came with roasted tomatoes which had an aweful taste to them. Two bites there. M's dish was ok but could tell he wasn't blown away. It was shredded chivken in a thick creamy sauce. It was like creamy chicken soup. This was def a bad decision. We would've probably be better off eating at the food court located next to this hotel on the corner.

Yelp
Beautiful antique hotel and courtyard restaurant. The courtyard dining is stunning at night with candles as their main lighting.we've been to the hotel and restaurant on May occasions. Many of our friends mention this place as a favorite.
