Hotel Mestre De Avis

I don't know where to start, but I definitely recommend this hotel because it did me so many favors. From the beginning to the end of my stay, the hotel staff were very helpful, especially Ana and two other women. I am an Erasmus student and my visa was delayed, but Ana said she could move the date forward, which was a huge relief for me. Since I didn't know the city while staying at the hotel, I asked a lot of questions, and they kindly explained everything. I also had some issues with Uber. They even helped me with that. I was also very satisfied with the cleanliness of the hotel. The hotel's location is also excellent; you can go anywhere by walk.Also I think it is cheap considering the all these good things.It couldn't be better.

It is located right at the heart of the city. From here to any popular location you can walk in 10-15 minutes max. Room was good. Bathroom toiletries can be much better. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. And wifi is spotless.

Comfortable room, very nice breakfast, hotel is reasonably priced and has lovely staff, beds are comfortable and Air con is effective , it's on a quiet street and everywhere is walkable, car park close by, but there is a drop off place by hotel you can collect parking ticket which costs €5 per day . Only negative is that there is no lift and it's a three storey building

It was a very good stay in the lovely city of Guimarães. The small hotel has wonderful art displayed throughout which was a joy. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, and the accomodations and breakfast very good.|The location is ideal for an easy walk to the sites of the old city. Excellent value, and highly recommended.

The hotel was a great discovery and better than what we expected from the pictures. Very clean, nicely decorated, and the staff are multilingual and very helpful with restaurant suggestions and places to see. As someone else previously posted, don’t pay for the breakfast, you can do better outside the hotel.

Great value hotel - good location, nice modern bathroom, everywhere was clean, comfy bed, nice breakfast. Car parking isn’t too far away. As others have mentioned, there is no lift, which may be an issue for some people. Staff were also very friendly

simple check in,all the staff i spoke to were friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a great and quiet location for exploring what guimaraes has to offer.my room had more than enough to make for a comfortable stay and while it doesn't have a lift,what they have done with the space on the staircase for all to enjoy is to be recommended.

Great good value quiet hotel near Old Town. Lovely friendly helpful staff. Clean and very Covid safe with 2 breakfast sittings to make breakfast with no congestion. Small bar on ground floor for residents. Only downside was being on top (3rd) floor with no lift. Would definitely return and just get room on lower floor.
