Hotel Metamorphis

What a wonderful hotel! The staff is incredible and the location near Old Town was perfect! You step out the doors and there’s a lot of restaurants and bars with a lively evening scene! We staying in room 841 which has cathedral ceilings with skylights and a small balcony that has a beautiful view of a cathedral! We really enjoyed it! There’s no elevator and it’s 85 stair steps to the room so if mobility is an issue, ask for a lower room! I’d stay here again!

One of the best hidden gem hotels! The rooms look very unique, staff is very friendly (special thanks to Barbara - she’s very professional and super friendly and made us feel welcome from the first second). A lot of beautiful bars and cafes are to find close by. We will book the hotel definitely again for our next visit.

Old building set in the heart of the Old Town. Just had to step outside the door to cafes, bars and the Square. Perfectly located. No noise at night. Good size rooms. Huge beds. Very clean with daily service. Recommend room with balcony as an added bonus. Lovely to sit with a drink absorbing the atmosphere. Reception not manned at night but had a phone number for contact if required. Reception also held onto our cases on the last day at no extra charge. Would definitely stay here again if returned to Prague.

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location, just of the Old Town Square in Prague. The room was spacious, with comfortable beds. Despite the central location, it wasn't noisy at all. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Would stay here again if I visited Prague.

We have just left the hotel and we couldn't be more grateful. The staff were friendly and helped us with suggestions for food in the area, and the room was massive! The location is fantastic, just by the Old Town Square. Thank you!

We visited pauge in 2022 and stayed in this excellent hotel. This summer we also arrived to city and stayed again in this great hotel. He is well located in the old part of prague, close to many sites. The rooms are big and service in the hotel is very good. Thank you.

Place ruined by nearby bar/club absolutely blasting music all night (on a weekday!) and the noise just meant bad sleep. The place itself is decent but doesn't matter if sleep sucks, even on a Monday.

We stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly. Our hotel room was situated at the front of the building, and over looked a quiet pedestrianised area. The room was a good size with large bed, tv, fridge with mini bar (chargeable), a nespresso machine (pods are chargeable), and a very small selection of tea and coffee which is free. There was an ironing board, but we had to request an iron from reception. The bathroom is large, with shower, hairdryer, hair/body wash. |There are a few cons to this hotel. As it is an old building, there is no lift. Our room was on the top floor 3rd floor. The stairs are a bit of a killer. Even with just a rucksack for luggage, we struggled. So it could be an issue with a suitcase. |Free water is provided everyday, but the free tea and coffee isn't replenished everyday. Luckily we brought our own tea and coffee, just had to buy milk (do not go to the mini markets, we got charged £3.40 for 1 litre, there is a Zabka supermarket round the corner which is far cheaper). The nespresso machine only gives out luke warm water, so we asked at reception if they could provide a kettle, which they did. |Lastly, if you have a very early checkout, there is no facility to check out, or a box to drop your keys off. Reception is all locked up until 7am.|Overall, this hotel is in a quiet area about a 3 minute walk from the astronomical clock, it's clean and offers a breakfast at a restaurant nearby. If you do have mobility issues in regards to stairs, then maybe this is not the hotel for you, unless you can request a room on a lower floor. Otherwise, for the location of the hotel, it is very reasonably priced.
