Hotel Metro

Honestly extremely disappointed. We paid $260 for one night here, we left in the middle of the night because we were so uncomfortable. The main issue was that the room absolutely stunk like sewage. We asked if there was another room or a window screen we could put to replace the piece of Styrofoam blocking the window to get some fresh air. The women at the front desk said she wasnt able to do anything for us at the moment, and wasn't able to even leave a note for management. The only thing they could do for us was to give us some air freshener. She insisted the smell was from outside, but outside the hotel smelt completely fine. We tried to just deal with it but ended up leaving about 30 minutes later. Front desk staff had left by then so we weren't even able to check out or ask for a refund. On-top of that the air conditioner in our room was absolutely filthy and covered in dirt, there were gaps between the styrofoam and the window so bugs could definitely get it. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. Overall bad and creepy vibes. Please spend your money somewhere else. Our room didn't look anything like the photos.

Wow amazing location and comfortable room! Here for western homecoming and in the rush of things forgot my charger and headphone on leaving. Got a prompt email to ship my items to me already as I was on a flight home. Hotel metro went above and beyond thank you!!

Did not get a chance to stay here, as a system error double booked the room. Took over 24 hours for them to notify me, and in that time everything in walking distance to the event I booked for is long gone. But no fear, they offered me a 15% discount on a future stay. Sorry, but you lost my business.

We were in town for Rock The Park, and this hotel was perfect! Walking distance to the park, surrounded by amazing food, and the room was gorgeous, clean, and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back in London

The rooms are very spacious and modern, clean lines & decor, no carpet - which I loved. The pillows were a bit too thick so we all woke with sore necks the first night. We figured out to untuck the pillowcase to flatten them and that was much better the next night. All staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Loved the location right across from the market.

Positive: Very cool vibe...modern industrial. The room was really nice and an original exposed brick wall. We walked everywhere and the market was right across street. Nice coffeemaker in room. Negative: The lighting in room was terrible. No bedside light where one person could read. Need a lamp or 2 or at least put some dimmer switches in. A couple options of pillows would be nice ...they were extremely thick. But overall the room was good.

The elevator doesn't work and I can't get to my room and because this is a "trendy" hotel there is no staff here. So there's no one to call, no one to help, and I can't get to my room. When I call both numbers for the hotel the front desk rings, Right in front of me, where there is no staff...at midnight. I will come here again when the Devil himself forces me to. Update: they told me to just hike the 5 flights. How do you run a business that operates 24 hours without an emergency number of any kind?

A great experience all in all. I, a very mature 23 year old, left my childhood sock monkey that I still travel everywhere with, was heartbroken when I realized. Before I even asked the hotel, they contacted me about it, and were able to ship it back to me! Reunited! Past that, staff were super friendly, very spacious, swanky, and accessible rooms, and a great ambiance. Felt very great Gatsby like. Will return!
