Hotel Metropole

Very well located, close to the main train station!! Staff is very nice and helpful. Now rooms are old with minimalist furniture, no power socket near the room desk table, no usb charge socket either. Bathroom is old and should be refurbished, definitely But after all i did pass a good night there, I would say that it is worth the price

The room is fine and clean. The reception is friendly. But this is all. There was only cold water running in my shower and I had to wash myself in it because the reception does not work 24|7 and I could not complain. The hairdryer was always switching on and off randomly so I could not dry my hair. Just imagine - I had a business meeting this day. Paying more than 100 francs per night for this? You are joking!

Came with family It's right off of the main square near the train station. While no breakfast is included, there is a nice tea/coffee room that is always available to patrons. We were able to do left luggage at the sister hotel in lockers at the hotel across the way. The room was clean and reasonable sized. The bathroom was fine and shower worked well. This was our first spot we stayed at upon arriving in Switzerland and was a good transition. To get from Metropole to the tourist attractions took about 10-20 minutes at any point.

Nice small and clean hotel. The reception only open from 7am to 5 pm. But the security is ok. You can't enter the hotel without the room's key. The location is near City central. They also give free tram ticket for sightseeing

Great location, great service. Room was comfortable. There was a bit of noise from the street but no big deal. The partner hotel across the street has additional facilities (restaurant, small gym). Can’t beat the location.

It was mentionned there is a parking for your car, which is wrong (they have changed it since). The rooms were ok, but the bathrooms were in a bad status (tiles broken, painting damaged, etc). And we asked for a single double bed, and got two single beds. The location is good, but the overall experience feels dissapointing. or this price range, and the fact that there is no breakfast included, I will find myself an Airbnb in the same neighborhood (which is 20-30 francs less), and will certainly enjoy much better my stay.

Right in the middle of the city with many food and drink options close by. Short walk from the train station. The rooms were on the small side and slightly out dated but everything was clean and as it should be. Coffee machine located on the first floor that is accessible 24/7

Out of 4 hotels we visited across France, Switzerland and Italy, hotel Metropole was a great experience. The free coffee, tea and infused water along with the free mass transit pass were the huge additions to a really nice experience. The receptionist couldn't have been any more easy going and professional. Amazing experience, would definitely come back.
