HOTEL MIAU

Perfect location in Plaza Santa Ana, surrounded by restaurants and bars and within an easy stroll of Puerta del Sol and Gran Via. Our room (115) was spotlessly clean with a great shower, comfortable bed and overlooked the square. Alex was the perfect host, so welcoming, friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Hotel Miau 😺.

When my booking accidentally cancelled on Booking.com, Theo fr Htl Miau emailed me to offer me the original booking terms, which i am most appreciative. They offer complimentary luggage storage aft our checkout. The hotel cafe staff AppleJoy is such a delightful person. The breakfast spread is good but the toaster needs to change as normal buns & bread cant be toasted without cutting into half!! so many pieces burnt!! Lots of eateries & theatres around but subway/train stns are about 10min walk. The only lift is about 6-7 steps from the reception level.

Hotel Miau is a small hotel, but a very comfortable one. I stayed here for about a week, and I had a nice stay. The room was pretty small, but it had everything that I needed. The bed was nice and comfortable, and the room was pretty quiet thanks to the soundproof glass door on the balcony. I had a nice view of Plaza Santa Ana from my room and didn't really hear much from the busy street below. The staff was friendly and terrific. They took care of everything I needed. I took advantage of the continental breakfast each morning. It was well-stocked and the staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel Miau is close to everything. Plaza Sol is about a ten minute walk from the hotel, and the Anton Martin Metro station is only a couple of minutes away. It's easy to get to all the museums and the Atocha Train Station. There are plenty of good restaurants and shops nearby as well. I enjoyed my stay here and would happily stay here again.

Friendly reception staff, comfortable beds and a great location. Breakfast was simple but decent.

The hotel is small, boutique and perfectly located for a short stay. The staff on all counts were fantastic. Friendly, helpful and nothing was too much to ask them. Thank you Alex, Stanislava and other support staff. The room was clean, renovated and well appointed - small but with a balcony for fresh air and good light, overlooking the plaza. The Bed was very comfortable and the soundproofing meant I slept like a baby for three nights even though my room faced onto Plaza Santa Ana. Air conditioning also worked like a dream. The breakfast buffet had great choice with plenty of fresh produce and traditional Continental or English style choices. Miau is in the centre of Madrid, close to all attractions and shops but the area was not touristy - rather a safe and liveable local neighbourhood. I really liked that. Having traveled the globe for years, this has been one of my best hotel experiences. I thoroughly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

A decent stay in a great location. Positives: very well situated for both the train station and main sites, with a good breakfast and a good sized room and bathroom with friendly staff: Negatives: it can be a bit noisy in the rooms (little street noise but limited internal sound proofing). I arrived at 1pm checkin time but the room was not ready so waited around 30 minutes, the staff did however put my bags in the room so a minor inconvenience.

Great location and well set up room. Very comfortable bed and also a comfortable chair. Quite small but more than adequate. The shower was a bit too small though and the wall fridge was very noisy. Nevertheless a good stay and I would happily stay there again.

This hotel was a great experience! It was in a perfect location, surrounded by restaurants. More than that, though, was the wonderful staff, who advised me every day and gave great recommendations.
