Very good location, easy walk to sol plaza. The room is clean but a bit small and can hear the noise downstairs, but okay for sleep. Breakfast starts at 8am and doesn’t have much hot option. The scramble eggs are heated up, not freshly made.

Great service. Good location. My room's terrace was right on a big plaza and was very noisy. Rooms are very very small, but I was traveling solo so it was good for me, but I imagine 2 persons will feel crowded. Clean rooms, shower pressure and temperature are great. Will come again

It is a very cozy place and the staff are amazing. The initial impression of the hotel facade does not reflect what it offers. The room for my wife and son was an adequate size, very clean and the breakfast was very good. The location is perfect

Personel of the hotel is not customer oriented. During the stay they renovated the room, there was nasty and toxic smell we had to stay 1/2 of day and entire night. Unacceptable to renovate the room while it has been sold to customer. The location was good - close to many attractions, but on the other hand it was very noisy and we could not sleep well enough. I do not recommend this hotel. The hotel's answer below only proves it diserved for the worst opinion. If it was possible to evaluate its service at zero I would do that without any doubt. Instead of appologize the hotel blames the CUSTOMER for the things that did not even happen. Disrespectful behavior? From which side? I was not even able to explain my opinion to the personel because of being interrupted all the time. Do you have any hard proves of evidance of my inappriopriate behavior? Please share the facts, not your opinion, not you empty words which seem like defamation. The hotel suggests the CUSTOMER was alcoholic, because he left a bottle of wine in the room. This is a terrible defamation which, combined with my nationality (I am Polish), sounds like a disgusting stereotype for which it should have been taken the legal actions. It is a lie that CUSTOMER left the room dirty. The room was a bit dirty from the beginning. Dirty and very dark. That was the trouble and the drama with the choices you oferred the CUSTOMER. No good alternatives: dirty and very dark "superior" room with no natural light inside it but a bit more quiet or lightful one but exposed to the noise out of the street. Please share the pictures with the view inside the room and outside the window of this room to visualize its superior level - please do so. Let the other potential customers evaluate "superior" status of that room. All in all. You should never blame the CUSTOMER. (1) CUSTOMER is always right, (2) if CUSTOMER is not right, please refer to point (1). Very simple rule that works most of the hotels around the globe, except HOTEL MIAU. Again, I strongly do not recommend this hotel to anyone. What is even worst - the hotel uses inapprioprate defamation and stereotypes, which is disgusting and below any, any acceptable level. SHAME ON YOU, HOTEL MIAU.

Bad experience so far... The photos of the rooms are misleading. The hotel is actually located in a narrow side street. I missed its entrance while actively looking for it. The rooms look towards the narrow street so there's basically no view of the city (unlike what is advertised). There some basic expectations that are supposed to be standard but are poorly executed here: - the electric plugs are designed in a way that wouldn't accommodate any international adapter, and I have several of them. Also there are no usb outlets. So you won't be able to charge your phone or anything for that matter unless you're a local and have European gadgets. - the fridge is designed with awkward shelving that doesn't allow you to store things like other hotels. - the shower is very clunky. - there's a constant loud noise in the bathroom. - the walls are very thin you can constantly hear what's going on in the other rooms. - the patio is so small it's useless and the curtains don't shut properly. - instead of a standard tissue box, they provide 3 actual tissues in a plastic container lol... It's so depressing it's funny. - the room walls is full of cracks and the room's design is poor. It feels like living in a cell. Also the side tables are small and shaky. - despite the room being small, the queen bed is so short that legs hang over the edge! Save your money and go somewhere else. (Edited update: a sign of a bad hotel management is a one who lies to cover face. In the response below, the hotel management denied that I stayed there which is a lie. I stayed there for one night in June 2025. Also trying to tarnish my review history even tho I'm a local guide who gave many good reviews to great establishments around the world is simply another proof of weakness. Instead of acknowledging pitfalls they try to smear their own customers. What a shame and what a childish response!)

A centrally located hotel ideal for a city break as we could reach all the main sights, the palace, retiro park, prado, reina Sofia museum within minutes, some of them even on foot. The rooms are clean and quiet and the people working there extremely polite and eager to cater for your needs.(Special thanks to Stanislava and Alejandro for that).Very good value for money and highly recommended for couples, friends or families.

Very decent, clean and well maintained mid-range hotel in a convenient location.Rooms are modern and on the small side, but perfect for short stays for a couple days or solo traveler. ||Hospitality is friendly and warm. Thank you to Stanislava at the reception desk for being so sincere and helpful. Breakfast is also fantastic value. ||Close to the subway and taxis are plentiful. The neighborhood is full of beautiful independently run boutiques, cafes and tapas bars.

Hotel Miau is a small hotel, but a very comfortable one. I stayed here for about a week, and I had a nice stay. The room was pretty small, but it had everything that I needed. The bed was nice and comfortable, and the room was pretty quiet thanks to the soundproof glass door on the balcony. I had a nice view of Plaza Santa Ana from my room and didn't really hear much from the busy street below. The staff was friendly and terrific. They took care of everything I needed. I took advantage of the continental breakfast each morning. It was well-stocked and the staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel Miau is close to everything. Plaza Sol is about a ten minute walk from the hotel, and the Anton Martin Metro station is only a couple of minutes away. It's easy to get to all the museums and the Atocha Train Station. There are plenty of good restaurants and shops nearby as well. I enjoyed my stay here and would happily stay here again.
