Hotel Mignon Meran Park & Spa

Everything an hotel should be. Not a chain, but a family run business where attention to detail is everything in terms of making the guest experience perfect. The staff are professional but friendly, attentive but not overbearing. Most days there's transport to the start of one of the many trails in the area. The hotel is in easy walking distance of the city centre, railway and bus services. The restaurant serves dishes perfectly cooked and perfectly presented. Local produce from the wine at dinner to the honey at breakfast is front and centre. Could not recommend more highly.

Excellent mix of luxury without being ostentatious and quiet but within easy walking distance of the town. What lovely staff who all looked after us so well. The hotel food was incredible. The bed and pillows so comfortable. We appreciated the loan of a walking bag, poles and umbrella. The spa facilities were perfect - from swimming in the sunshine whilst looking at the mountains to dozing in the pavilion listening to the pond. Merano is beautiful, the walks in the area are stunning and the local food and drink are delicious. Honestly the best holiday we've ever had. Thank you to all the staff at Mignon for making our stay so wonderful.

Our stay at Park Hotel Mignon was as near to perfection as it’s possible to get. It’s evident that the hotel is run by a family who care about their guests and their hotel as every small detail had been thought of. It’s impossible to list the little things that make such a difference.||It wasn’t planned when we booked but this holiday turned out to be our honeymoon! We couldn’t have chosen anywhere more beautiful. We appreciated the lovely card from the family & our wine, flowers & fruit. Not to mention the duck!!!||Rooms are big and very well equipped, wonderful beds, fabulous views and again many little extras that make a holiday special.||Food here truly is gourmet every day with a very high standard of presentation and emphasis on local produce. Everywhere is immaculate and facilities are unbelievable with indoor and outdoor pools, a wonderful garden with many areas to relax and amazing 5* spa facilities. We had guided walks on two days and appreciated the free transport to the start of walks on another day. Merano is a short walk away and local transport less than 5 minutes. It’s a beautiful area.||On a couple of evenings we were subtly entertained with music which was much appreciated, especially when my musician husband able to join them!||I could go on, but suffice to say we hope to return.||Thanks to the family and staff.

Easily the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Not only are the rooms, facilities and location all great but the service is superb. All the staff were brilliant all the way through our stay I really can't fault anything at all. The food was fabulous every day, with lots of variety and everything looking and tasing excellent. It's a real credit to all the staff how wonderful this place is. We really liked Merano and the Hotel Mignon so will be back in the future. I completely concur with everything the other 5 star reviewers have already said.

Truly our best vacation ever! Everything is about attention to detail and taking care of you so you can completely relax in the stunning estate. The food was incredible, and the service unmatched. We have stayed all over the world, but we never felt a more luxurious experience than here. Frau Sissi and her staff are top! The various patios, verandas, spa rooms are scattered throughout the artistically and well-manicured grounds like hidden gems. Merano itself is gorgeously decorated with flowers everywhere and there are numerous passegiatas and interesting things to see and do. We had a rental car and spent a glorious 5 days exploring the local area, but we could have happily remained on the property the entire vacation!! The food. WOW. The taste and variety of the breakfast buffet is unmatched. Dinner was exquisite—fantastic variety with local specialties. The spa/beauty services were exceptional—we had two massages and a manicure/pedicure… but we indulged in an extra massage before departing!! We met many people who come here every year for a long stay—one couple has been returning every year for thirty years! Truly magical!! Highly recommend if you want to learn what a vacation should be! We will return!!

This hotel is as close to perfection as we shall ever experience - first class food, service, facilities and wonderfully welcoming family owners and staff who now treat us as friends as well as guests. We have been coming here in June or September for many years, and the hotel manages to get better with every visit. This year there has been a spectacular expansion of the entrance and reception area, generating additional space and light and a beautiful new seating area. We look forward to whatever next year brings!

Easily worth 5*, ticking every box in terms of attentive not overbearing staff, utterly professional but also friendly. The food is superb and presented beautifully. Not being a chain, but an established family business certainly gives it the edge. Unusual but so welcome to find tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom

We were deeply grateful for the hotel staff's kind and attentive assistance when the railway suddenly went on strike and we found ourselves in a predicament. The hotel's facilities blend seamlessly with nature, providing the perfect setting to relax in the pool and sauna. We highly recommend that you take the time to fully enjoy Tyrol's natural beauty and its warm-hearted people. We also enjoyed Bruce Liu's (First prize winner of the 18th International Chopin Piano Competition 2021 in Warsaw concert.)
