. We booked a Junior Suite in this four-star superior hotel for a week. The location is very central, but the hotel clearly needs a complete renovation and refurbishment—especially regarding sound proofing. You can hear everything happening inside and outside the hotel from the room. The TV does not work properly, the bathroom and toilet need significant attention, both lifts were broken at the same time for almost a full day, and the entire hotel lost power one early evening. On top of that, the hotel lacks proper management. This is particularly noticeable at breakfast and in the rooftop restaurant. There is constant chaos: if the cheese is available, the plates are missing; when the plates arrive, the coffee machine is not working, and so on. Most of the staff are trying their best, but there is no coordination, and no one seems to be leading them. However, the main reason for our one-star rating is that we were made to feel foolish. From the beginning, there were announcements of a pool party posted everywhere in the lifts, scheduled for Friday starting at 5 PM. We finished our beach day a bit early and returned to the hotel to join the party, only to find that the announcements had been removed. To be sure, we asked at reception, and were told that no such party was ever planned. This was extremely frustrating. The likely reason was a spontaneous party in the same area the previous day that had been shut down by the police. Whatever the reason, it could have been communicated in a much more transparent and courteous way.

Wonderful experience for my partners birthday. We found the service to be exceptional, from the front desk, bartender, wait staff and housekeeping, everyone we interacted with was friendly and accommodating. We overslept and missed our hour at the spa, so we will be coming back next year. Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

First night in the hotel, quite an early review. Rooms are clean and tidy. Hotel Grounds are well looked after and breakfast is a 10/10. Really friendly staff and plenty of food options. The rooftop bar is definitely worth checking out, as they make a good cocktail. Rooftop pool is ideal for cooling down - rather than swimming lengths in it.

Had a lovely time on our honeymoon at the MIM, with our room being upgraded, which was greatly appreciated. Hands down, the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in! Gorgeous roof top pool, reasonably priced drinks, free beach towels every day and a stunning spa with pool, jacuzzi, steam room & sauna. Only negative was the bathroom cleanliness - lots of mould which hasn’t been cleaned for some time, and our room had many beetles & ants within it.

The hotel room quality is not the best. I’ve stayed at this hotel 3 times since 2021 and every time I’ve stayed here, I’ve noticed the quality and condition of the hotel rooms has gotten worse over the years. I stayed in privilege room during this trip and it was not good. The hotel does not do a good job at maintaining their rooms in good condition or at least this tier of room. They don’t repair things properly either. During my stay I noticed the vanity in between the sink had a broken door that was not held up properly by its screws. The wood cabinet door that contains the mini fridge looked like it was about to fall off the hinges The wood varnish on the bed side tables was peeling off as well. I mentioned my concerns to the front desk and I stated that the hotel really needs a renovation and do better with the upkeep. They said that the renovation is in the works but the dates for it are unknown. In the meantime the hotel should still do a better job and make sure the rooms are in good condition with features that are not falling apart. The cost per night for a room that’s falling apart doesn’t make the stay feel worth it in my opinion. The hotel breakfast wasn’t the best in my opinion… I noticed a decrease in the quality of the breakfast from my last 2 stays. The location of this hotel is great but I am disappointed with the quality of this stay.

Has the bones to be a fantastic hotel but needs to be managed much better. Firstly the positives, the location is great, a couple of minutes from the beach and town centre and the views from the rooftop bar are amazing. The negatives. Staff do not follow up on requests, breakfast is great and has plenty of choice but too often standing and waiting for dishes as they were not replenished. The spa is an additional charge to the room and must be booked in advance, this is not explicit despite clearly being used as promotion. Gym needs maintaining, it’s almost unusable. Nowhere really to hang towels in the bathroom. No bottled water, only two free coffee pods and tea bags for a week long stay. Lift broken, ran out of towels, asked for additional pillows, didnt arrive until 24 hours later and only when reminded. I really hope they sort these simple things out as could be a fantastic hotel.

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was quite disappointing due to serious issues with cleanliness and maintenance. I recently stayed at this hotel and, while there are some strong positives, the overall experience was affected by major issues in cleanliness, maintenance, and general upkeep. Positives: • Excellent location, very central and convenient. • The rooftop area is beautiful with great views. • The breakfast buffet was decent, with a good selection and pleasant breakfast area. • The gym is well equipped with modern Technogym machines. • Spacious room and welcoming lobby. • Private parking available for guests, which is a plus. Negatives: • Although the room and bathroom had been superficially cleaned, there was visible dust on ceilings, air vents, and light fixtures. • The wardrobe door couldn’t fully open due to an emergency light poorly installed. • The sink drained slowly, and the shower head was leaking, indicating poor maintenance. • Under the sofa in the lobby was full of debris and dust, and the carpets were stained. • The gym, despite being well-equipped, was very dusty and poorly ventilated, with only two loud fans and no proper air conditioning. • The air conditioning vents throughout the hotel appeared dirty, and the system seemed neglected. • There was a persistent unpleasant smell in various parts of the hotel, especially near the entrance and in the corridors, a musty, humid odor that was also present in the room. • Overall, the hotel appears to have had no deep renovation or proper maintenance since opening in 2013. Summary: The hotel has real potential thanks to its location, facilities, and spacious design, but it suffers from a lack of basic maintenance and cleanliness. With more attention to hygiene, repairs, and air quality, it could offer a far better guest experience.

Our stay was very disappointing and definitely not what you would expect from a 4-star hotel. The rooms were not properly cleaned, the minibar didn’t work, and we had to ask the staff several times before anything was done. There were also repeated power outages and the elevator was often out of service. The spa and wellness area was in very poor condition: the steam bath was broken and dirty, the sauna benches unhygienic, the showers rusty and calcified, and even the pool area felt cold, wet, and poorly maintained. Overall, the hotel feels outdated and in urgent need of renovation. For the very high price we paid, the value was simply not there. Even though the location is good, this was not worth the money and certainly not a 4-star experience.
