The hotel is centrally located near EN 13 , the train station is only a couple of miles away, so it's easy to get to. It's fairly close to the Minho River for eco activities like running, biking, boating, etc. The rooms appear to have been remodeled within the last couple of years, so they are clean and fresh. The rooms have a balcony and overlook the central pool area. The facilities look great, but I didn't get a chance to use them. The staff is helpful. On the negative side, the room lacks the convenience of a charging station for electronic devices. Or conveniently placed sockets. I had to move furniture to get to the socket next to the night table. As for the bathroom, the shower is a good size and has a bench, which I thought was a nice touch if the ladies want to shave their legs. That said the toilet and bidet are squeezed next to each other in a too small a space, and they made it worse by putting the toilet payer dispenser in an ackward location. Almost makes you sit slightly sideways cause of interference from the dispenser. But the thing I liked the least was the mattresses, too soft, I like more conventional mattress firmness.
