I LOVED THE VEW!!! 😃 The service was AWESOME! 🤩 unfortunately they don’t invest in the taking care of the hotel itself 😔 Everything is falling apart, the AC doesn’t work very well, they have no safe in the room, everything is old and rundown . I don’t regret have come here because the view is extremely good !!! Would I come back here? probably no, but if you have never been here, I strongly suggest you to do it at least once, JUST FOR THE VIEW!!!

They told us a room with a view was available but then the manager came along & said they were actually sold out so we had to get a room without a view & no compensation for that. Regardless of that though the views there are so beautiful & the vibes there at night are so fun. No one told us that when it's night time/the days of the diving show here the vendors come out. You won't have to leave this area if you don't want too because everything is here from food, snacks, sweets, and knick knacks.

The towels were not really white clean, no amenities were provided like conditioner or shampoo.

Should you visit Acapulco (highly recommend!) do stay at the Mirador: it is clean, it is secure, the staff are lovely and helpful, and you can sit in the lobby or one of its restaurants and watch the famous cliff divers of Acapulco to your heart’s content.||Our room was dated but clean - beds were comfortable, air-con worked well, shower was ok, basic toiletries included (soap bar, shampoo), 2 bath towels and 1 hand towel. No coffee in the room as other reviews have mentioned - but based on stays in other hotels in Mexico I don’t think it’s a thing here. ||The swimming pool was clean and we had it to ourselves. (There are a number of steps down to it but the hotel sits on a cliff after all). We had dinner in the restaurant one night and the food and service were very good. Cheaper options are available nearby but you don’t get the incredible view over the sea and of the amazing cliff! ||Breakfast is worth it - plentiful food and coffee. |Part of this experience is the nostalgia - the Mirador used to attract the famous and has served as a filming location. Doubtless there are newer, smarter places to stay in Acapulco. But this place has history and soul. Sure it’s seen better days, but haven’t most of us?

Not a great experience at all. Booked the hotel through hopper. When we got here they charged us AGAIN stating we didn't mark the correct # of people. Then we get to the room and we were missing towels, water, complementary toiletries. Which we called down to reception for and they said WE had to go back down the 10 flight of stairs to reception to pick up what we asked for. No elevators. AND there were cockroaches in the bathroom. UPDATE: we left for the day to the beach. After our horrible experience our first day we were ready to have some fun. We returned to find a security guard greet us at the entrance closest to our room. He informed us that they had found our door open. My mother and I double checked the door before we left so we knew it wasn't due to our negligence. Luckily we only left a few pieces of clothing and some toiletries in the room so there was nothing of value to take. SUMMARY: overpriced for the stay. No wifi. Required to wear wrist bands for the entire stay that you could not remove w/o being charged extra and left us with tan lines. No wifi. No accessibility. Poor customer service. Questionable cleanliness. Hotel cannot guarantee your safety here as well. WILL NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

I had my rehearsal dinner for my wedding here on Friday March 10th 2023, Estella helped me with organizing the entire dinner and was extremely helpful! The setting, the service, and the hospitality was AMAZING! This is a great place to have a special dinner or event, I would highly recommend. The views for the cliff divers shows is the BEST IN ACAPULCO! I brought guests from Philadelphia and they were all amazed by the place! The food that was prepared was buffet style and it was DELICIOUS! I will definitely be coming back to El Mirador to enjoy more dinners here with the best views. Thank you Estella for your incredible customer service and for the organization of my event!!!!!!!!

The view from the hotel was great. The restaurant, bar and lobby have open views to the cliffs, you can see the cliff divers from there. It has a spectacular view of the open ocean and as well as the Cliff Divers. Also from the rooms, the views are beautiful and a bit more private than the restaurant. I had a great view from my room, it felt like a dream. Also, the hotel has a 3 meters deep pool, it is higher up the hill and they have two cable cars to take you from the first floor (close to the lobby) to the pool; only thing is you have to cross the parking lot and a street to get to the pool, but then again the view is cool from up there. They have a natural pool where water and fishes fill it up but you have to walk down stories to get to sea level. Next to it there's like a kiosk where there's chairs and tables and you can just look at the ocean. On the way down to the natural pool there is another pool but it is not as deep, maybe like 1.5-2 meters but also a good place to just hang out. The customer service was great, they were always nice and always helpful. I attached some photos of different parts of the hotel. Honestly it is easy from my top 3 hotels that I've stayed in just for all the cool things it has, if not my favorite.

Its a lovely place with a great view! I went there with a friends and she fell in love with the hotel. The perks of this hotel is their hidden little beach pool that the hotel owns. If you are looking for a discreet not too packed hotel away from all the tourist this is a great option. They do offer day passes that allow you to use their utilities and includes breakfast or lunch with two drinks for $450 MXP.

Yelp
This place had beautiful views. Rooms need a lot of work. Tv wires are out and the bathrooms get wet a lot while you shower. We told them we were gonna have visitors and they said sure as long as they don't spend the night. Today we had our aunt stop by to say hello AS A VISITOR and now they're saying we have to pay an extra charge. I do not think this okay. I believe they have to work better with their communication between the employees. but Ingeniera Teresa de Los Ángeles from maintenance is 10/10 she's great!! her extension is 086.

Yelp
Do not eat here under any circumstances. We waited over an hour to be seated. They make you pay before you are seated. They have a price fixed dinner that takes forever with some of the worst service I have ever had. It took over 2 hours for the main course to come and when it showed up it was cold. I stated this fact to the staff and they took another 20 minutes to reheat the exact same meat. They didn't even replate it. They heated up the same meat and put it on the same dirty plate. Besides that they crammed seven of us on a table for four. If you want to watch the divers you can just eat from the little restaurants and stalls the restaurant doesn't even have the best view of the divers.

Yelp
I really like this hotel they have a beautiful view the service is pretty good and is not so crowded and crazy. Not close to the touristy area but still very good choice they have a gorgeous view with a very relaxing vibe.
