Very friendly staff, helpful. Great location. Our room was a tad small, but otherwise very clean, quiet. We had a double room, had a chair, tv, small closet. Stairs only, no elevator, so if that's a problem rethink staying here. We didn't mind. They do serve breakfast, we didn't partake, but it looked good. They offer coffee in the lobby in the morning, ice water and fresh juice the rest of the day. Would stay again.

Colonial style building ,many rooms facing in onto the inner courtyard. Insect screen on the windows.|Lounge areas on each level. |Simple furnishings but huge bed taking up most of the floorspace. Fixed shower.|Breakfast very simple and served to order in courtyard on ground floor.|Very well located to explore Campeche on foot.|Stayed one night only as part of a small group tour.

I was delighted with my room. Felt like in a movie. High ceilings, balcony with spectacular view, AC and fan working properly. The location is awesome: restaurants, museum, bank, zocalo, malecón, and local attractions. The price for the stay was great; I would like to come back anytime soon!

They get one star because the shower and AC are great. However our room (and I suspect most other rooms) was quite loud due to the fact the top of each door has plantation shutters that are open to the common area. This alone is not the reason for the bad review. The main reason is the deceptive behavior of the staff. I called to check prices and was given a price for two nights. I arrived shortly after and reminded the staff on duty I had just called, and paid that amount. I confirmed with two employees that the price was for two nights. The next morning, a different employee asked me if I wanted to make a reservation for that evening. I told them I had already paid and I was told that they understood and they were just confirming that I wanted the reservation for the night. I said yes, and left for a day trip. While on the day trip, the staff called several times to tell me I had only paid one night (after having confirmed 3 times(!) that I paid two nights). Additionally, I was quoted a price approximately 30% higher than what could be found from a simple search online. I sent them several screenshots of the prices (which included taxes and fees). Despite this information, they essentially refused to honor the online prices readily available form various online hotel aggregators. As a result, I told them that I would not be staying another night. Before I left that morning, I placed a do not disturb sign on the door. In our text conversation that day, they asked if they could enter the room to collect out things. I told them I would take them from the room myself when I returned later. They replied that they understood. When I returned, the room had been opened and cleaned, and my things were not where I left them. I simply cannot recommend this hotel to anyone, there are too many other options within walking distance that won’t try to bait and switch or outright lie.

Terrible service, we had to switch rooms twice because of the horrible humidity smell, and later in the night because the AC stopped working, the water to shower was very cold and worst the employees were very rude saying they couldn’t do anything to fix the issues with the room. Also due to the restaurants outside the hotel the music and noise what very high all night up to 3am.

The location is great, but that's about it. Our room didn't have a window, just some broken wooden shutters. Outside the window was the road with a lot of noise from cars and a loose manhole cover. Could not sleep. The breakfast was very limited. Alejandro who was serving was very very friendly and helpful, he is what bumped this review up from 2 to 3 stars. The other staff spoke no English, and we had to check in using a website, which also didn't translate to English well. All in all not a very customer friendly experience. Would not visit here again.

Although the hotel is in a lovely colonial building very close to the city centre and the decor is beautiful, there are no elevators and our room was on the third floor. I have severe osteoarthritis in my hips, so getting up and down the stairs was a challenge. Luckily a bell boy took the suitcase up (and down again). We were on a tour and only stayed one night, but in the morning when we went down for breakfast, we were told that only "box lunch" was available, and a very poor effort at that! A sandwich, a cake, a smoothie drink, a milk drink and a bruised apple. Even coffee wasn't being brought out. Oh, and due to its central location, it was quite noisy in the room even with windows closed. Finally, it was lucky that I can communicate in Spanish!

Beautiful hotel. Very good location in the centre of Campeche. But a lot of noise at night from the Calle 59 till 2 o’clock. We put a blanket between the windows and the wooden panels to reduce the noise, this did a good work. Breakfast was good.
