Horrible! The front desk told me my bags would be placed in the type of room I requested and I paid. When I returned at 9 pm, no room was given and my bags were still in reception. The next day the dhower flooded the area by sink and I had to lay towels down so as to not slip. The manager on duty, sunday Dec 4, refused to give me towels saying I had used my allotwd amount and was going to charge me another night for more towels (I was checking out that day). Don’t stay there! There is Gamma and a slew of others!

Great, helpful, and friendly staff. Both the property and our room are spotless. We were allowed to check in early for an extra fee, which we were happy to pay. Room was nicely appointed, with all amenities, including a coffee maker. Fantastic shower. The breakfast was overpriced, but good. Ten minute stroll to the Zocalo. I found absolutely nothing to complain about. Also, it is very convenient to the first-class bus terminal.

This hotel has a lot of good reviews, but the actual experience is pretty mixed. That is, it has a lot of positives. The location is fine ... at one edge of the nice part of Orizaba, and right on the main route. The back rooms are pretty quiet, except for the church bells that ring at 0600 and 0700. The hotel is clean and well-kept, and it is pleasant and open-air, such that it feels quite pleasant. The parking facility is right below the hotel, and the hotel has an excellent valet service that is always efficient.||||The downsides, however, are several. Check-in and check-out were laborious and confused. It took 5 minutes just to get a copy of the receipt, for example. They forgot to get a voucher to be able to charge meals to the room, for another example. Though the staff were pleasant, they were also quite inefficient and ineffective. ||||The room keys were regularly disconfigured, which made for a bunch of extra trips to and from the front desk when we could not get into our room.||||The water was uneven and unpredictable. One afternoon there was no hot water, which is not a great sacrifice. However, another afternoon there was no water at all for at least 2 hours, and there was no warning or announcement. When I called to ask, I was told that the water would be back in a couple of minutes. 15 minutes later, I called and asked a bit more clearly, and the answer was 45-60 minutes! The day that we were leaving, they were planning on an extended water outage.||||The restaurant was particularly ineffective and inefficient. The waitress had no idea of the menu ... had to ask about which juices they had, for example. Prices were very high also.||||In sum, this is a beautiful hotel with loads of promise. Given the many and diverse problems that we encountered, I suspect that the management is not particularly effective. Aspects of this hotel are fine ... e.g., the cleaning staff and the valet service ... but others simply do not work at all well.

Clean hotel but overpriced for what it offers. The hotel is well maintained but old and stark in its design. Furniture in rooms is very noticeably old and dirty, with too many coats of paint. Bathrooms and closets feel incomplete with no doors and bare lightbulbs for lamps. Gym in very poor condition with equipment not in working order. Pool is too small to be usable. Staff are competent but indifferent and unable to deal with complaints or issues.

Dont stay here. The rooms were only par clean. Not enough towels, one roll of toilet paper, hot water took forever to come on. All the furniture was old and outdated. Our room had mold growing in the corner from the shower draining into the floor. There was no filter from the street outside, you hear everything! We went to breakfast at 7am and nothing was ready. No hot coffee, kitchen was barely awake. I will not stay here again.

Reservations were made on Hotels.com and check in was very easy. Room was just as promised, beautifully decorated. Rooms opened up to courtyard with fountain. The only negative thing was that the sound really carried in the court yard and some guests didn't realize that others were still trying to sleep in during their vacations. Shower was hot enough. Staff were friendly. Hotel within walking distance to many attractions or with a short cab ride. Hope to be back.
