Hotel Miss Blanche

Miss Blanche is an excellent hotel in the center of Groningen, overlooking one of the canals. It has rooms in a few buildings around the same street. Our room was great! Spacious, with kitchenette, nicely decorated and very confortable. The service is great. They make sure we had a smooth and easy arrival. The parking next door is very convenient. We will, definitely, go back.

I read the ratings and reviews but I had to come and check it out myself and WoW I was not disappointed at all. Friendly hospitable staff who checked me in with grace and love and since I was not going to be around for breakfast they delivered me a breakfast box every night before the next day. The room were impressively clean and we'll maintained had a iron and ironing board to fully furnished kitchen with cooking utensils, plates, bowels, silverware, tea, coffee, water boiler, and even a fan for if you get hot. I do not know who Miss Blanche is but she has definitely thought about everything and is well prepared with her staff and team to meet your accomodations and every needs. Do not come to this city and miss the opportunity and privilege by not stay at her residence. You will not be disappointed.

Hotel was great - we had a lovely apartment in a great location in Gronignen right on the main canal. Apartment was nicely decorated and modern. The apartments are split across several buildings - which worked for us but may not suit everyone. Breakfast was excellent in another building. Staff were friendly.

What an incredibly good place to stay. Location first in that it is right next to the canal in a great vibrant area and yet the rooms are not noisy. We had asked for a lift and was given an upgraded room. Wow! Modern, lovely furnishings and a very comfy bed. Fridge, coffee, and very tasteful furniture. Loo separate from shower. Parking nearby. Great team on arrival with special menton to person who booked us in and showed us to the room. Spent at least 5 mins showing us good restaurants to suit out tastes. And they were great. Groningen is really lovely and very youthful. Highly recommend a trip out to the Walden Sea centre newly opened. We had a great stay.

The hotel is simply amazing. Located right on the canal and close to shops, restaurants, sightseeng spots. The room are very clean, specious and very thoughtfuly decorated. We stayed at the 2 bedroom appartment where a washer and a dryer were provided in the room, which was very convinient for our stay with 2 small children. Fron desk attendants are very kind, courteous and available to help.

The apartment was amazing — beautifully furnished, very clean, and perfectly located in the city center. We were even upgraded to the penthouse, which made our stay absolutely wonderful! The reception staff were super friendly and helped us organize parking just a few minutes’ walk from the apartment.

Thank you! I had a wonderful stay in the 'cosy room'. Great location. Slept really well. Staff is very attentive and kind. They noticed that I'd be celebrating my birthday during my stay and had decorated the room + left a present. How fab is that! Also, good to know for people who suffer from allergies or/and have astma....I mentioned my sensitivity to fragrances/perfume and they went out of their way to make sure the room smelled as neutral as possible. Sheets are steamed so no heavy fabric smell. I could breath in peace! Thanks again. Groningen is fab!

We booked this hotel due to the positive reviews it has, and boy, they were sooo true! Hotel Miss Blanche is as close to the center as you can get! We highly recommend to book a parking spot, if you travel by car. It is totally worth it.... What impressed us the most by far was the hotel's staff! We hardly ever met personnel so dedicated to meet the guests needs as in this hotel! So: Thank you very much for everything you guys did, not only are we returning, we recommend your hotel in every way possible.

Furniture and look and feel are very nice, personnel is really friendly. We had a mini-suite - and thats where it went off track - mini was really mini. You could walk around the bed. Nothing more nothing less. ok for one night, not for more. The bigger suites seemed nice though.
