Great location in near the Montparnasse train station to take to Versailles or where ever you like. Lots of cafes and restaurants and shops near. Clean, felt safe. |Quaint room, clean with everything we needed. Comfortable bed. |The front desk is always staffed and they were so kind and helpful. Nice breakfast. |Would definitely come back again.

Enjoyed staying in this lovely hotel with friendly staff.|We had a rough time at airport but the lady at hotel made us welcomed. The room was ready early around noon so we can check in and have some much needed rest. We really enjoyed staying at this pleasant and conveniently located hotel (once we got oriented, we know it has convenient public transportation around). While the space was not big, it was fine for us. We went to the restaurant the gentleman at the reception recommended, and it was excellent (Augustine). The breakfast is great and they got my favorite tea. When we got back at night, the Asian receptionist was so welcome and helpful, he helped us to have self serving tea and gave us good tips for restaurants and tours.|We are happy for the stay and will recommend to friends.

Great hotel with lovely reception staff. The room we had was spacious and light, well appointed and quiet. Good breakfast selection. The garden area is an added bonus and we enjoyed relaxing there. Close to a good range of restaurants French and Ethnic. Highly recommend.

A great find, very affordable and comfortable. The rooms are small but from what we could see this is common in Paris. We had everything we needed and the staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. Close to metro stations and a variety of restaurants, and we walked to the Eiffel Tower which is several kilometres away but a pleasant walk and it was nice to see the area. Very happy with our stay.

Lovely hotel. Nice and clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Not far from the metro and trains so it was very easy to get around the city from the hotel as well. Enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

Everything is a bit small in this hotel, but just large enough to be useful. This is also true for the breakfast room, small but sufficient. The beds were good and we could open the windows for fresh air. There was some street noise, but not disturbing. We had an excellent stay.

Stayed in this small yet very nice hotel for a week - and this was totally positive experience. Friendly staff and clean (though pretty small) rooms, tasty breakfast and good location in a quiet street but close to metro and many good restaurants. Thank you a lot for this pleasant stay.

Extremely Disappointing and Overpriced I recently stayed at Hôtel Mistral in Paris, and I must say it was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The price is completely unjustified for the quality of service and facilities provided. I left feeling cheated and frustrated, and I strongly advise others to think twice before booking here. Wi-Fi: A Scandalous Failure First and foremost, the Wi-Fi simply did not work during my entire stay. In 2025, reliable internet access is a basic expectation, especially when you’re paying a premium price. The fact that I was charged for a service that wasn’t provided is unacceptable. I felt misled and ripped off—if the hotel can’t deliver on such a fundamental amenity, they shouldn’t advertise it. Paper-Thin Walls and Zero Privacy The acoustics in the rooms are appalling. I could hear every conversation, door slam, and even the TV from the neighboring rooms as if they were in my own space. Needless to say, I didn’t get a wink of sleep thanks to the noise. For the price I paid, I expected at least a minimum level of comfort and privacy, but instead, I felt like I was sleeping in a dormitory. Breakfast: A Sad Joke The breakfast was another letdown. No hot options—just stale pastries, cold cuts, and a pathetic excuse for coffee. And don’t even get me started on the ...nonexistent scrambled eggs. It’s almost as if the staff has given up entirely on providing a decent meal. For a city like Paris, where culinary standards are high, this was embarrassing. Lazy Staff and Rude Service The attitude of the staff was the final straw. Instead of being helpful or apologetic about the issues, they were arrogant, dismissive, and downright rude. It’s clear that the management has rested on its laurels, assuming that the hotel’s location alone justifies the lack of effort. Well, it doesn’t. Fake Reviews? Looking at the overwhelmingly positive reviews on Google, I can’t help but wonder if they’re written by the staff themselves. My experience was nothing short of terrible, and I find it hard to believe that so many guests could have had a genuinely good stay here. Final Verdict: Avoid at All Costs

Yelp
This hotel is extremely charming with very nice staff. They even have delicious French pastries in a basket in the lobby. When we arrived, my daughter was even given a cute bear and an extra financier. Our room was very small--which was fine--but there were some shelves on the wall, and I accidentally knocked a plant off one. With so little room to maneuver, nonessentials should probably go.

Yelp
Started my Paris trip at a flat I had booked through Airbnb. Within minutes of checking in, I realized it was not going to work. Fortunately Hotel Mistral had an open room during my stay. I absolutely loved my time in Paris, largely in part due to the hotel! Great location (short walk to the metro as well as walking distance to many great sites and restaurants). It was an easy and lovely 30 minute morning walk to the Eiffel Tower and the Dome Church. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean and comfortable (with sizable showers! I actually had room to shave my legs!) and the lounge area was cozy. In the evenings we'd sit in the lounge and play the available board games while sharing a bottle of wine. I look forward to staying here on my next visit.

Yelp
Lovely and welcoming hotel located a block from the MONTPARNASSE Cemetery on a quiet street. The location between Denfert-Rocherau RER station and Gare MONTPARNASSE works great if you're flying into CDG and then going south or west from the train station. It's a nifty 10-minute walk from Denfert-Rocherau along pedestrianized and always-interesting Rue Daguerre. It's a shorter walk from the hotel to Gare MONTPARNASSE, and it's downhill.

Yelp
I paid 171,00 Euros (more than US$200,00), w/o breakfast, for the following services: 4 steps to climb to get to front desk, nobody to help you. Nobody to help you to put your luggages in the elevator. A room that do not allow you to open your suitcases. Noise from slamming door of neighbors. Noise from backyards. No amenities. I complained to the hotel management, that just answers that their prices follow the law of offer and demand. As a French, born in Paris, I felt ashamed. To redeem my self, here is my review. Forgive us.
