Hôtel Moderniste

This is a cute little hotel located on a quiet side street in the south west of Paris. It’s only a short walk from convention station. The staff were lovely. I would say the rooms are very compact though. My son and I got a large room with 3 beds and what I thought was one double and a single, the single was a sofa bed with no bedding provided so we would have been better off with 3 singles. I think this should be made clearer. We were on the 5th floor, the rooms were close together and right by the elevator - after falling asleep I was woken by noise which can’t be helped in the space. Thankfully the morning was quiet. The view was quirky from the small porthole window and little balcony. I would personally opt out of breakfast, definitely on the petit side and many more options in Paris. The lady at breakfast did kindly fill up my water bottle though which was sweet. There is also access to tea, coffee and water at all times which is a nice touch.

An absolutely fantastic small boutique hotel near the convention center that provided a magical experience for a last minute trip. Modern and elegant rooms that felt refined and well appointed. Very clean and comfortable with plenty of nearby shops, restaurants, and convenient access to the Metro. You cannot ask for a better hotel manager than Monsieur Bertrand whose staff was excellent, super helpful, and very attentive to our needs. A can’t miss that we can’t wait to revisit.

A fantastic find so close to the expo in Paris. Very kind staff, immaculate room and just perfect for working trips as it is for families who will be spending most of the day out. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough. Much better than a soul-less chain hotel. I had time to explore the local area which has lots of nice dinner options as well as a nearby park for a morning walk.

This was our third trip to Paris and my second time staying at this Hotel. Last year, I was 15 minutes from the Eiffel Tower, but we kept thinking of our stay at Hotel Moderniste. The location is within walking distance of stores, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, and Patisseries. In addition, transportation (traveled by train and bus). The atmosphere is pleasant, the rooms are the right size and very clean. It was quiet and they provided great hospitality and service. I'm looking forward to staying again.

Very friendly, quiet and clean! ! Good breakfast also. And that part of Paris was very nice. Good restaurants nearby, easy access to metro. If you travel as a couple, I recommend a medium room, rooms are small.|I would definitely return to the same hotel next time!

This was an excellent experience and we will definitely be back the next time we are in Paris. Stayed in the connecting rooms which was perfect for our family. Clean and bright with very good size bathroom by European standards. Breakfast was ample and fresh. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The street was quiet too. Thanks!

We stayed at Hotel Moderniste for a birthday trip and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The staff were warm and welcoming right from the moment we arrived, taking time to give us maps, tips, and info on breakfast and coffee spots. Our room was spotless and well-equipped—compact but perfectly designed. The location was ideal, with great restaurants and patisseries nearby, plus easy metro access for sightseeing. A fantastic choice for couples or solo travellers who want a relaxed stay away from the busier centre of Paris.

What an exceptionally well-managed and inspiring institution. Our visit to the Museum of the Future was unforgettable, thanks to both the breathtaking exhibits and the wonderful staff. We were particularly impressed by one of the guides, Mr. Hassan. His explanations were incredibly knowledgeable and engaging, and he showed great patience with our questions. It is this level of professionalism that makes the experience truly world-class. Thank you for a fantastic day.
