Hotel Mogren

Tourist or not, do not spend your money eating food at this place. I ordered a Cesar salad with cold chicken pieces and pommes frites on the side which were not fresh. I asked the waiter to please make a new batch of pommes frites, he took the plate and came back literally after 5 minutes. The plate with pommes frites looked like this, they almost "also" fried the tomatoes, which was some sort of decoration.

We ate here in the morning and evening - both times experiencing below average food. The prices are quite low, so you’re paying for what you get. The real problem here was the service - despite the lady in the morning being quite pleasant, the evening staff were clueless. We seated ourselves, had to ask for the menu and then waited 20 minutes just to be served, and when I politely asked to be served, she said she can’t help as it must be her colleague. We then saw ‘said colleague’ wondering around ignoring us. We asked him to serve us, and in return he was rude and hostile saying that ‘you just asked my colleague this same question’. All the reviews about the service are right, you’re paying for cheap food and questionable service.

Breakfast was very good. If you like croissant I strongly advise. Tea comes in a pot for every one.waiters are smiley kind and helpful. We were satisfied with all the seevice food and staff. Thanks.

I had a sandwich and orange juice. The stuff was attentative, communicative. Anđelka and Ranko especially. Cake are nice, I really like the Fantasia cake. So creamy and light. The position and the view of the old town is nice. It is and old hotel and beautiful caffe. They should really bring the AC inside a bar. It was better outside.

My wife and I ate her as we didn’t want to eat in the overpriced restaurants within the old town walls (it seems once somewhere has an ‘old town’ address it’s free license to add many € to their prices). The food was very good but service a little sloppy. We were waiting a good while after we ordered until food arrived and then starters and mains arrived at same time. While the food was delicious the starter was lukewarm and by time you got to your mains it too had cooled a little, but it was still all very tasty. It’s good value compared to the old town (where we ate less quality food for more expensive price the night before). Our bill for 1 starter, 2 mains, 1 large water, 2 large beers, 1 bottle of wine and 2 ice creams was €75. Good food and decent value

It's definitely very good, with friendly staff. Mr. Jenko, in particular, takes care of even the smallest concerns immediately. Thank you very much, Mr. Jenko. I highly recommend everyone make their first visit here.

The restaurant is amazing, super good and high-quality food, especially the breakfast. Good service and kind people working here! Recommend!

We were there two days ago in the afternoon for 3 hours. There were plenty of waiters, but very few customers. All the waiters were very inattentive... they obviously didn't want to see our empty glasses. Everyone seemed very unmotivated.
