Hotel MOHR Life Resort

TL;DR: Stunning views and great facilities, but an extremely rude check-out ruined our stay. Will not return. If you have dark skin, consider carefully before booking. We stayed 3 nights and loved the mountain-view room (although with a stinking carpet), spotless wellness area, variety of saunas, and delicious, well-prepared food. Most restaurant staff were friendly and attentive. The problem came at check-out. We had booked two full-body massages and received written confirmation. Due to a scheduling issue, one was moved to the next day. At check-out, the invoice listed one full-body massage and one “Aroma Oil” massage, which we never booked or received. When we questioned it, the receptionist phoned the spa and was told, “Masseuse X only provides Aroma Oil massages,” as if that justified changing our booking without asking us. She then dismissed us with, “It is only 2€, I can give you a discount if you do not want to pay.” The amount was not the issue — the tone was condescending and humiliating. For the first time in years, I felt my skin colour may have played a role in how I was treated. This experience overshadowed an otherwise wonderful stay, and we will not return.

This was the most magical experience, from the moment you enter the staff is warm, welcoming and inviting. The spa area is clean, calming, and the best place to recharge, and the food was incredible. I would 100% recommend spending time here, you won’t regret it.

This was our second stay at the Mohr Life Resort, and the least we can say is that the hotel is in perfect harmony with the simply magnificent region. Everything has been designed so that the Zugspitze is always there in front of you, no matter where you are (room, bar, restaurant, spa, gym, etc.). There are lots of high-quality activities with very professional instructors (thank you, Bernhard). The guests are the center of attention at all times. A big thank you to all the staff for your kindness. We'll be back.

Great place to have a summer break. We really enjoyed our week. Food was amazing. The gym is great.

This is our second time here and we want to thank all the staff for the amazing service! The best spa we have been to, delicious food, lots of activities nearby and amazing gym. Thank you so much! We were very happy to be a part of this amazing place. We will definitely be back in the summer.

We were staying in the "older & not renovated rooms" , which were fine, but not up to date and no Air-conditioning+ view to parking lot sadly. Other than that, the hotel was outstanding, the spa areas were huge, gorgeous and clean, the relaxing beds in the spa area are freaking beautiful! So comfortable. There was a big variety of pools and sauna, it never felt crowded.. Free snacks, fruit, teas and water to be found in those areas, aswell as fresh towels on stack. The hotel included breakfast, light lunch , afternoon cakes and a 4 course menu dinner - great veggie or vegan options ! ( drinks were not included - cost extra) . The food was phenomenal, the choices were great , the salad bar and breakfast hit the spot. Amazing service! Highly recommend! The view from the spa and restaurant/ balcony of the restaurant toward the mountains , was stunning! We loved it !

This is one of my favorite European hotels. As a musician we see many and full disclosure we performed here, however we were also guests. The atmosphere is relaxing and luxurious at the same time - wonderful spa facilities, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend!! 5 🌟
