Very centrally located, and has the full of whatever "view" Aveiro can offer. The best part of hotel might be the design of its restaurant and breakfast quality. Its exterior looks very new and nice, though the furniture inside is older. Water drains both in the bath tub and faucet drained slower than usual, but not as bad to request help.

1) The ladies running the breakfast buffet are amazingly good. Among the hardest working and most professional workers I've seen anywhere. 2) Unusable in-room Wi-Fi. So bad that my devices won't even stay connected for more than a minute or two. In addition to terrible coverage, it's Wi-Fi 4. Wi-Fi 5 came out in 2014 and modern Wi-Fi is WiFi 7. Lazy and unacceptable for the price even if it was 2020, but we're entering 2025. We're even in one of the "premium" rooms facing the canal. The typical connection in a $20 grass hut on a remote island in Indonesia is far better. 3) They want 50% more money to add a mobile cot for a small child. Absurd 4) It's clean and the lobby is nice. Breakfast is really good 5) Parking is not free, but is a space age operation

We have stayed here before and always do when we come to Aveiro. We absolutely love it and feel like it’s home away from home. The staff are fantastic and breakfast most enjoyable ! We booked directly with the hotel and we appreciate so so much the fact that they were so understanding and helpful when our flight was delayed more than 12 hours. They reimbursed us gladly and we rebooked for another night. The hotel rooms are beautiful and clean and the hotel is in a lovely central location by the river. It’s a calm and peaceful place. Good value for money.

This is most definitely one of our favorite hotels in the world where they create a tranquil and homely atmosphere. The staff are all wonderful and friendly. Rooms are clean with everything you need. We always stay here when we visit Aveiro and already look forward to the next visit. Such a big thank you to everyone and also for being so kind and helpful regarding our delayed flight problems. Many thanks again.

Upon entering the hotel lobby, we were warmly greeted by Diana & Catia. They offered our friends and us a free room upgrade which was so kind. The rooms were themed. Our room was a classic decor and our friends' room was modern deco. Very comfortable beds and linens and the bathrooms were opulent! Both rooms had views of the canals with the colorful boats sailing up and down the canal.||The breakfast was tasty, with many choices. Afternoon happy hour and snacks served by the friendly barman Ivo, made us feel like we were family.||We needed a ride to Porto (about 1 1/2 hrs from Aveiro) and the Hotel recommended the very professional services of TaxiGlenn. ||Out of all the accommodations during our 5 week stay, Hotel Moliciero was by far the highlight stay for us!

Loved this little boutique hotel! We were lucky to get a room with a view of the canal. Every inch of this place was "bougie". Rooms were cozy. Bed was comfortable. Lobby area with bar was a fun place to meet up with others. The location was also very walkable to shops and restaurants.

Very nice calm place to stay very close to the canal. Particularly enjoyed the piano player in the comfortable bar at night. Room was excellent, quiet, spacious with a good sized balcony. Will stay again.
