It's a lovely little hotel with very friendly staff, and the location could not possibly be better. You are right in the heart of all the action, steps from the marina and so close to the cathedra, you can see it from most rooms.||While they make a fuss about how they are a 4-star hotel, I quickly learned that star ratings in Spain are different than most other countries. Don't expect luxury, for the staff to go out of their way for you, or even modern infrastructure. I found it to be a decent 3-star hotel with the veneer of a four-star hotel, and very expensive for what you get. The rooms are small, the infrastructure is old, and the level of service is very basic.||Make sure you know what you are getting. I booked a room five months in advance, specifically requesting one with a balcony. I wasn't too happy to show up after a long travel day and find out I was in a tiny room with no balcony practically located in the lobby. After making a fuss, they found another room to move me to on the second night. I didn't appreciate the tone Javi used with me the first night I was there, acting as though it was my error, because I don't understand how their booking process works. It's just not how you treat someone who is dropping $2,000 euros for a week at your hotel. In the end, all was okay and was forgiven, but the first night did leave a bad taste in my mouth.||Know also that while the rooftop bar is the hotel's main selling point, it's not exclusive to hotel guests. Anyone can just walk in off the street and access the rooftop. So, my advice: if you want the experience I had, book an apartment nearby and come to the rooftop bar for a drink, and save yourself hundreds of euros.||We had a lovely stay, but I probably wouldn't book again. I have to imagine there are tons of better options in Málaga for the price we paid.

Stayed here as part of a quick weekend trip. Room was a decent size and the bedroom was super comfy. Only issue we were situated in room 201 and encountered loud noise on the jight of pick up and only one lift to our floor. Perfectly located right by the marina and Old town. Plenty of buses stopping nearby so easy to get around. Recommend for a short stay. Can't comment on the rooftop bar as it was closed when we went up at 3pm but was quite small.

A beautiful boutique hotel that is above and beyond all levels of hospitality service and professionalism with rooms and restaurants bars and roof top terrace to match. Small but perfect in every way and a truly classic experience of charm and grace with personal touch and style unmatched by its much bigger neighbour. The hotel’s location right near the action makes it a perfect location to stay. Customer service was top. It’s rooftop was also very nice (great aperols!). And Matiz it’s restaurant was very chic and offered great buffet style breakast. Overall, it was a perfect place to stay while in Malaga!

The property is lovely and the location is perfect, an easy walk to the Cathedral, the Picasso Museum and the waterfront. The 8th floor deck has a pool and a great view over the Cathedral. the waterfront, and pretty much everywhere else. Our room had a queen bed, which was soft, but the bed cover wasn't wide enough, leaving my wife and me fighting during the night to stay covered. The breakfast was delicious and the staff nice.

This is our favourite place to stay in Malaga. Brilliant location right by the cathedral and in the centre of the city. Perfectly situated to explore Malaga. Excellent rooms, albeit can be a little noisy if your room faces the street. Inward facing rooms are likely quieter. Great breakfasts and friendly staff. We appreciated the hotel's flexibility in moving back our booking by a day due to snow in the UK.

I stayed here for one night when my flight got delayed and it was a horrible experience. First, I asked a man at the front desk if it was okay to smoke on the terrace and he was SO rude to me. He told me the entire hotel is smoke free and acted like I was an idiot for even asking? I politely pointed out that it’s uncommon to not be able to smoke on an outside terrace, and that they should advertise it as a smoke free hotel, to which he told me that it’s “the law all over Spain” (it’s not) and passive aggressively told me that I should go and smoke on the street corner. Anyway, I walked up to said terrace and two separate members of staff offered me an ashtray straight away. People were smoking everywhere; You are very much allowed to smoke there. So this man at the front desk was just rude to me and tried to embarrass me at the front desk for no reason. Really REALLY poor customer service that ruined my experience straight away. The staff on the terrace were lovely, both the bar tender and waiter, which is the only thing that makes me give 2 stars instead of 1! The hotel itself is fine, basic and over priced in my opinion, it does the job but no where near the quality you expect for the price. The bar on the terrace doesn’t open till 4pm, so you can’t even get a water or soft drink which is annoying. The breakfast is adequate, but not worth the 40€ extra it costs. The coffee is from the kind of machine that you would get in a gas station, which I think is awful for a 4 star hotel. You have to ask and wait for a while to be given plates, glasses, ice, anything, the tables were not set for us and the whole place was a mess. You could instead walk around the corner for a much cheaper, nicer and more authentic breakfast. Our room was very small, no balcony and the television has no access to Netflix, Amazon Prime or any app, which you would expect given the price you’re paying for the room. There was also a horrible lingering smell of sewage that kept coming and going which was really unpleasant. Our room had a bidet cover which I assume is to cover the drain smell. There are clearly issues with the hotel drainage system. We only ended up staying here in a rush decision as our flight got delayed until the following day, and I am very grateful we were only here for one night of our holiday. I would not recommend staying here unfortunately, and I really think their 4 stars needs reviewing, This felt like a budget hotel.

Absolutely loved this hotel with its perfect location in the old part of town. The reception staff were always helpful and check in was quick. Our room was spot-less, clean and comfy. We had a small balcony and doors which looked down on the busy road but we were not troubled by the noise at all. Beds were lovely. We went to the roof bar and had cocktails overlooking the port. Would highly recommend.

Yelp
Want a good view... have a drink or two here. It overlooks a brilliant view over the port. Come at night or sunset to get the most out of it. It's not a huge bar area. I originally came here for a drink to see if I could possible make use of the swimming pool. Then got the "pool is for guests only". But no matter... I think my bathtub is actually larger. A nice bar... lovely view.
