We stayed here for two nights, and overall the experience was okay—there were a few issues, but nothing major. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of historic monuments, which was a big plus. The room was decently sized and clean. However, when I first checked in, the bathtub was clogged. The staff couldn’t fix it right away, so we were asked to move to another room. While we appreciated that a room was available, I do feel they could have offered an upgrade, especially since I had to repack everything and move floors while still soaking wet. Another issue was that housekeeping didn’t come unless we explicitly requested it. Communication was also a bit difficult, as the front desk staff didn’t speak much English. This might be more common in Málaga compared to cities like Madrid, but just a heads-up—if you don’t speak Spanish, you might experience some delays at check-in or check-out. That said, the staff were generally kind, and the location is hard to beat. Despite the minor inconveniences, this hotel offers decent hospitality in the heart of Málaga.

Modern hotel with comfortable & very well equipped rooms. Location is TOP. Every key area from a touristic point of view is within walking distance. Effective price range is around €280~320 per night. Definitely value for money. Will always be our first choice

The location couldn’t be any more perfect even if it tried you’re right in the heart of everything, I had a lovely view of the cathedral from my room. I was slightly worried after reading reviews about noise, but I slept like a baby no issues at all. Rooms were modern and comfortable, staff were helpful and friendly without being over the top. Luggage storage was also super handy. Would happily stay again🩷

Highly recommend this hotel. Location was central to all of the main activities. 5-10 min walk to all the restaurants , cafes , and bars. Hotel staff was friendly, attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Rooms were upscale, clean and incredibly maintained. Has a rooftop bar as well, with a nice view towards the ocean. Tip: If renting a car the hotel offers parking which is an excellent amenity. Parking is extremely difficult to find in the central area of old Malaga.

The location is amazing for the old town and marina. The rooms are very nice, the breakfast is great, and the rooftop pool and bar is perfect, especially early evening with a few drinks and the music playing. ||I would definitely stay here again.

Great location in the city centre of Malaga and good to have an outdoor pool on the rooftop. Unfortunately I don’t think we saw the best face of the hotel. There was renovation works going on in the lobby and the restaurant which we were not told about before our stay. I was highly dissatisfied with the room as the extra bed requested turned out to be a sofa bed and I was told all rooms for 3 people the bed is a sofa bed. This was not made clear at time I booked this hotel or I wouldn’t have chose it. There was nothing that was done when I raised this issue with the hotel team. Basically that was it. So for 6 nights I found this poor. Also as the room was booked for 3, the housekeeping kept only leaving enough towels for 2 people and 3 nights in a row I had to go down to reception and request another. The staff at the hotel were all very nice when you interacted with them but there would be no other acknowledgment from them if you didn’t initiate it first, no simple ‘Hello’ when you walked passed reception. It just didn’t feel friendly or welcoming. I’d chose another hotel if I was to stay in Malaga again.

The hotel is fantastic. It is in a very central location, close to the Cathedral and the port. We booked a deluxe room, which was very spacious with a double balcony. The room was beautifully decorated and cleaned each day of our stay. The staff and facilities at the hotel are amazing. The breakfast choice was excellent and served until 11 am daily. The hotel has a lovely rooftop pool and bar. Cannot wait to return to this gem in Málaga.

We booked directly through the hotel which according to the website should come with certain benefits, however we didn't seem to receive any of these like a welcome drink, although we were able to check in early which we were grateful for. We didn't get any advice from the reception staff about the local area or a map (which we asked for later), there wasn't anything wrong with this, other than on all of our recent trips we have been welcomed with more information. Room was great, we had a superior room and it was ideal for us and spacious. The website said some come with balconies, we had requested a balcony as we had booked directly via the hotel and had mentioned it was a special birthday. The room had a 'balconette' but not a balcony as such, so unsure if our request was just ignored or whether they refer to their 'balconettes' as Balconies. Our tea and coffee was not topped up on one occasion and we didn't receive any milk, but this seems to be a common theme for us lately! They had Shower Gel, Shampoo and Conditioner which was a bonus and the hairdryer was very good! The rooftop pool/bar is very small and the pool very small. It is not just for hotel guests, but the public as well, which we did realise but makes it very uncomfortable if you want a dip and a sunbathe after 16.30pm when the bar opens. Also the bar times differ from the website. We found the rooftop bar to be very disappointing, not just because it is very small. The service is extremely slow but also unhelpful. My partner asked if they do coffee and the waitress just said 'no" and turned away (he would have ordered something else given the chance). We also tried to go there for a special birthday drink, however, we did not get served, my partner attempted to go to the bar to order but was told to sit down to be served....however, nobody served us, so we left. Major improvements needed for the rooftop bar! Hotel is in a great location for bus stops along the coast. The Matiz restaurant was excellent. We chose the tasting menu without the wine flight and it was was great, we particularly loved the service from Sophia as well. Overall a great stay but could be room for improvement at the rooftop bar and a better welcome from reception including the welcome drink advertised!

Yelp
Want a good view... have a drink or two here. It overlooks a brilliant view over the port. Come at night or sunset to get the most out of it. It's not a huge bar area. I originally came here for a drink to see if I could possible make use of the swimming pool. Then got the "pool is for guests only". But no matter... I think my bathtub is actually larger. A nice bar... lovely view.
