Hôtel Mon Repos

A very nice hotel and well priced compared to other options in the area. The location is great - right across from the park with another close by. Though the clientele seems to be more business/professional, this is perfect for families as well. Both parks have lots to take in for all ages. An easy walk to the boulevard by the lake and good public transport options close by. Nice breakfast options as well.

The hotel is well located, across from Mon Repos park and near a bus stop and water taxi stop. The rooms were well sized, although the shower was set up so that you had to hold the shower head all the time. Also, the bath was very deep so if you have low levels of mobility, ask for an accessible room if they have them. The buffet breakfast was nice, with lots of options. There is no bar availability Friday or Saturday, which I assume is because it is a hotel based around accommodating business clients. All in all a nice stay.

Good hotel for 3 stars. There are bathrobes. We lived a week with children. Near the park, bus stops. The room had a balcony where there was a table and two small chairs. The breakfasts are normal. Water in the room only in the minibar, so we bought in the store. If you have a limited budget, this is a good option for Geneva.

The room and bed were perfect, staff pleasant and helpful. Located opposite a beautiful park by the lake, and a short ride to the central station etc. via frequent buses this hotel offers overall excellence and convenience!

Great location across from the park, but not worth the price. The air conditioning barely works and you can hear everything from the other rooms. The restaurant was closed several days and the staff, while polite, felt distant. Overall clean, but lacking charm and too expensive for what it offers.

Excellent accomodation, view, Well located. To improving I provide manual air conditioner fam to the client. Provide bed sheet to cover yourself without the duvet because using that cover makes it very hot.

I have nothing bad to say about this place. Pretty good location. Room is plenty big (for Geneva) and very clean and quiet. Breakfast was quite good. Staff is exceptionally helpful and professional. I mean, in some ways it's just what you expect in Switzerland! But really ... highly recommended. I'll stay there again!

Beautiful hotel design and setting. We could not have been happier with this location as first time to Geneva. Easy walking along the lake to Old Town, close to train station access and buses.

The absolute best place to stay in Geneva! I have been coming to Geneva for 6 years, and stayed at several very nice hotels. This one tops them all. Spacious rooms, great atmosphere, impeccable service, wonderful restaurant and bar, and a very courteous and professional staff. Two bus stops, 5 minutes, from the UN European Headquarters, and less than 10 minutes by bus from downtown. Across from a park on beautiful Lake Geneva, and 20 minutes, on one bus, from the airport. I come to Geneva 2-3 times a year, and there is one place I'll be staying from now on--Hotel Mon Repos!

This is my first stay at this hotel. I stayed here as it was the closest to my meetings for the week. The hotel is newly remodeled, clean and nice. I am very grateful for the real bath towels - fluffy and large! The breakfast is well appointed for the price. The dinner menu is pretty basic yet fine. The staff is lovely and given I do not speak any language except English I never had any trouble as once each employee knew I needed to speak English - they quickly adapted. I received a local transit card, free of charge with unlimited use for my entire stay. What a nice surprise and I used it all week. Thank you. My one and only complaint is that there is very little soundproofing between the rooms. This is a very old building and I suspect this is the issue. I could hear conversations on both sides of my room; the child coughing through the night; and the snore of a fellow guest. No doubt that means that my late night work calls could be heard and were disruptive to others. Bring your earplugs and if you work on an international schedule - do your best to speak quietly.

Hotel is fine in general. Rooms are at good size, functional interior and good bar and breakfast area. For summer travellers: there is no aircon but a vent in the room. Like the area as you are well connected to city centre by walk or bus and it just Takes a few minutes to get to get to the lake.
