Absolutely fantastic stay very near the Prague castle. The grounds of the hotel at the monastery are beautiful with private parking. Due ensure your vehicle is within the suggested size as the entry door to the private parking garden is small. ||Staff were excellent and very welcoming. Breakfast had a nice variety every day. The rooms were spacious and clean but ensure to know there is no elevator. If you visit the old town and do not want to walk back up the hill take tram 22 from the bottom and it drops off very near the hotel. ||The nearby brewery is perfect for dinner or a snack. The view from this location alone is worth it. We had a beautiful breeze for all of our stay. ||We loved staying here. It is also easily accessible from the highway. This is perfect if you are driving into the city.

We loved our stay here, the location is excellent, the man at reception was very helpful, we could park our motorbikes safely even before our check in time, we were very grateful for that. The room was nice, clean, quite unique up in the attic. The breakfast was amazing, so many choices, all very tasty and presented in a very nice way. The garden and the breakfast area has a beautiful setting. Definitely recommend, I would stay here again.

Wonderful hotel in such a historical place that one can only dream of - the Strahov Monastery. 10 minute walk to Prague Castle- this is very useful at night, when it is amazingly beautiful and there are no tourists. 15 steps and there is amazing view of Prague. There is a tram stop nearby that goes to the old town (16 minutes). The hotel has a beautiful courtyard where you can relax. There is a restaurant there that serves a delicious breakfast. The hotel has wonderful employees. They are very hospitable and help with everything. We arrived a few hours ahead of schedule - our room was ready, we had to leave later and they allowed us to stay a little longer and helped us with our luggage. I recommend this hotel - it is comfortable, you feel cared for by the staff and you are in a wonderful location on a Prague hill.

We have just come home and loved our stay. It was kinda quaint to stay in an old monestry but with no compromise to comfort. The staff were lovely. Stephan could not have been more helpful. Rooms just lovely. Breakfast was one of my highlights of the trip. All you wanted, with a great variety. The smoothies 😋 yum. Thank you all.

What a lovely hotel! Friendly, helpful staff, we were greeted and made to feel very welcome, we had a mezzanine room, plenty of space and spotless. The whole hotel was clean and fresh with so much character but with all the mod cons. The breakfast was gorgeous, fresh, tasty and so much choice. Loved the elevated location a few steps to beautiful views over the city, we walked everywhere and this hotel added to our fantastic trip to Prague. Thank you!

This is a really great place to stay. We travelled as a fa,ily of 4 and had the mezzanine room, it was really well equipped and comfortable and has the advantage of rooftop views over the city. The hotel itself was part of the monastery (Uber drivers were unsure of its location so a top tip is to ask them to head to the entrance to the monastery and you walk the last few metres to the hotel. The breakfast was really good, with an excellent variety of food and as the weather was kind we were able to eat outside where you can get stunning views of the architecture. The brewery next door is great for beer/food, you are very close to the tram station to get to the Old Town, but I would recommend the walk to the Palace and then down the hill to Lesser Town, getting the tram back up the hill. A final comment, the staff couldn’t have been more helpful, it was really nice to stay in a hotel that is very different to the normal.

The hotel is located at the end of one of the most lovely squares in Prague. It used to be a monastery and it has been meticulously restored, and what a wonderful place it became. Rooms breathe the atmosphere of the old days, but are modern, large and equipped with everything a weary traveler might need, including Dolce Gusto coffee maker. Spotlessly clean, great staff - everyone goes out of their way to accomodate you, and the breakfast is just great ! And one more treat : THE best view over Prague is 5 meters away from the entrance.

This hotel was recommended to me, and the hotel is decent. Room was okay. I called for this reservation just a few days before arriving and nothing was shared about work on the hotel. I flew to Prague out of London, and it’s a 6:15 flight requiring you to arrive at Heathrow Airport at 4:15. I arrived in Prague early, around 9:15 and super tired. The room wasn’t ready, and I didn’t expect it to be, but I checked in and left my baggage to do some sightseeing. ||I returned to the hotel early evening. Reception gave me the keys to my room and still said nothing about work at the hotel. I arrived to my room to find two giant bottles of drinking water on the desk and a typed notice that the hotel would not have any water the following day from 8-1. ||Two buckets of water to flush the toilet were left in the bathroom. I am in disbelief an establishment can rent rooms when water can’t be provided. Based on earlier reviews, this isn’t the first time this has happened. ||I appreciate the provision of water, but I would have appreciated much more a little decent honesty. Telling someone renting a room there won’t be water is common courtesy. For this reason, I would never stay here again, and I wouldn’t recommend the hotel to anyone. I will inform the people who suggested this place to me of the same. Guests deserve better.

Yelp
After finding the door to get in every thing was great. It is just a door on the side of the building you have to buzz in with reception. Exactly the kind of Room you want if you're staying in an old building. We stayed in a lofted room in the peak of the building. The room had exposed wood beams but a modern bath. We could see right out over Prague from the window. The grounds were beautiful great for outdoor walks. The staffs was very nice they went way out of they're way to get us public transport instructions to get to our next destination. WIFi was good.
