Hotel Mondschein

This hotel was our favorite of many in our European vacation. The service, especially front desk, was warm, accommodating, and very thorough in helping with directions, food suggestions, etc. The family room is spacious enough for two parents and two teenages who each loved having their own bed. Air conditioning and a big bathroom were much appreciated too. Breakfast was plentiful and similar to other hotel breakfasts. The breakfast room was very spacious and pretty. We enjoyed meals away from the hotel more but you can't beat the convenience. We will stay here again when we return!

We stayed three nights in the two-bedroom Family Suite. It was spacious and new and perfect for our family - everyone had their own space, and the two bathrooms were much appreciated! There are many hooks, and storage is plentiful! The breakfast room is delightful, and we enjoyed having coffee with views of the mountains and river. If you have older kids, don't miss the mountain carting in Muttereralm - it was a trip highlight for everyone!

My family of 4 stayed at Hotel Mondschein for 3 nights in late June. We were very please with our stay. The room was updated and roomy for our family. The location cannot be beat. Loved the breakfast and service there. My husband can get his coffee and my two teen daughters can get their hot chocolate any time of the day. The staff were pleasant and helpful. It's the little thing that they do for you that makes this hotel exceptional.

Really enjoyed my stay there. Close to the city center and public transport, right by the river. Had to call the airline I was travelling with for issues I had, and the staff was very helpful. The pillow was a bit bigger than what I am used to, but for a couple nights is ok. The breakfast was tasty

We stayed in a family suite having 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Beds were comfortable, good storage space in the rooms. Helpful staffs, great elaborate breakfast. Nice location. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Hotel Mondschein is officially in our Top 3 best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. It’s a boutique hotel with incredible accommodations — comfortable bed, heated bathroom floor, a/c, very clean, perfect location and incredibly welcoming staff & bar. ||I have no constructive criticism or negative comments. My only complaint is I couldn’t bring the bed pillow home as a souvenir — though I’m desperately trying to find out where to buy!

The hotel is conveniently located near marktplatz and amenities are modern. If you are driving, the parking may be a bit of hassle. Hotel staff are friendly, buffet breakfast spread was great. Overall, a very pleasant and memorable stay.

A peaceful, very quiet, perfectly located hotel. The staff, especially the pleasant lady serving breakfast, were polite and helpful. We would love to stay in a place like this on any vacation.

I think that I found this hotel on Booking. It received decent reviews and was a fair price. I give it a 5 1/2 stars! It is located directly over the bridge to the new town. Our 4th floor had two big windows-that open for better pics and to absorb the sights and sound of the moderately busy street and the rushing river. Check in was great with good tips and maps provided. The room was a great combination of new and old - all maintained perfectly. And the breakfast buffet was excellent- pretty, tasty and the hotel folks running the place were very friendly and helpful. All in all - I would highly recommended Hotel Mondschein!

It's hard to imagine this hotel as a Best Western. It's located in a historical row of the oldest houses in Innsbruck and you have a beautiful view of the river, the town of Innsbruck and the mountains. You can open the windows and listen to the rushing river as you sleep. The bed is comfortable and the room is a typical European size. The bathroom is very modern and has a beautiful sparkly granite top. The shower and sink are separate from the toilet. The breakfast is included and there is a good selection of meats, cheeses, cereal and my staple-Nutella. This hotel definitely impresses!

Clean and comfortable and close to old town. Enjoyed my view facing the river. Beds were firm. Bathroom is spacious. Front desk was helpful. Its about a 5 min taxi ride from the train station

Fantastic hotel! We had a hard time finding a hotel that was open at 23:00, most where closed, this one, fortunately, had a friendly receptionist who could speak both German and English who immediately accommodated us with a fantastic room overlooking the isar river. The rooms are very clean and had both a sitting area and combo shower tub, which we enjoyed. It was also about a 4 minute walk from the Goldener Dachl and a great spot for the Innsbruck nightlife.
