Hotel Monopol

A great hotel, especially for that price! The hotel, including the unique patio, has a very welcoming and unique atmosphere. The rooms are always clean, the service staff goes out of their way to help and make the vacation amazing :) We used the pool, whirlpool and sauna frequently. Amazing atmosphere. Breakfast was simple yet nourishing, everything you need. The hotels location is ideal, near every possible attraction. And lastly, big thanks to the receptionst quickly calling a taxi for us, when our transfer bus to the airport did not pick us up!

Lovely hotel, great price and location, with a pool and a jacuzzi, lovely staff and a nice breakfast. It would have been 5 stars if there was air-conditioning. It was a big ceiling fan which was ok and I guess the price would have been higher if they had air con.

Beautiful hotel with very traditional style that perfectly gives out the vibes of Tenerife. Excellent central location close to the beach, restaurants and bus stops to visit other places as well. A lot of variety in the breakfast buffet. Very nice pool area. Clean facilities. We had a problem with our initial room, but after communicating it with the receptionist, he apologised and offered another room with great view. Friendly staff. Totally recommend it.

Well what a vibe thus place is! Steeped in history, the rooms are basic but very clean and get attended too daily. The staff are cheerful and friendly, it's situated in a great position overlooking both the town square one way and the sea the other. Not even a two minute walk to the main 'strip' and 3 mins to the fabulous lido. I hope to bring my daughter here later this year

Hotels are cheaper in Puerto because they are older, but don't let that put you off this utterly charming hotel. It's run well, spotlessly clean, sure it looks dated but it's one of the oldest hotels on the island and you can tell by the people who work that they really do care. ||Sun terrace on the roof with fantastic views of the sea and the Plaza del Charco with restaurants, cafes and shops literally on your doorstep.

Great location, right in the city centre and close to the beach. Lovely hotel in an excellent position in Puerto de La Cruz, very basic and old fashioned but also cheap and you get exactly what you paid for. Room was clean. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Lovely Hotel with a great location by the sea in the middle of town. Staff were excellent, pool and decking was great with free towels. Breakfast was lovely with a view of sea. Loads of shops, restaurants and bars on doorstep. Will stay again highly recommended.

didn't stay at the hotel but had a drink in the hotel bar on the square. hotel and location are wonderful. waiter was ignorant and unhelpful. asked for two beers on tap and his reply was you want water, only drink on draft. Asked for the toilet and he made out he didn't speak English. however heard him speak perfectly good English to two ladies on the next table. It's a shame.
