Hotel Monopol

Lovely hotel in the middle of everything. Staff was extremely friendly from housekeeping to front desk. Rooms were comfortable and slightly dated. The cafe/bar outside was excellent! Yeray & Juan took great care of us. Breakfast was not impressive but enough options to fill up and go out to eat later. Highly recommend this hotel. Very reasonable pricing and you can walk to everything.

This is a wonderful hotel. Full stop. The more most beautiful interior in Puerto. A place that is obviously loved by its management and staff. The staff, particularly the maid services were the best we've seen in many years. It could not be more perfectly situated in the town. Great value for money. Extremely recommended.

An absolute gem of a hotel. A little dated in places, but that's part of the hotels charm. |A fantastic breakfast to start the day. |Right in the heart of the town.|A lovely pool and some fantastic views. A shame there is no kettles in the rooms, but we always take one.|And many thanks to Oliver on reception for his knowledge.

Clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast was nice but choice was limited - this wasn’t a problem with so many places to eat nearby. View from room was lovely, our view was the church and Mount Teide. Just in need of a little updating. Would stay again!

Plus- housekeeping excellent, ok breakfast, great location, lots of areas to sunbathe away from people if you like your own space, ||Minus- internet access in room 20 and throughout hotel very very poor. Breakfast beans one day sausages another so you never got the full breakfast plate but plenty other things on offer, no lifeguard on duty, jacuzzi freezing and a towel was left reserving a sunbed for the 6 days I was there. So no cleaning up around pool area in 6 days, no English channels only one BBC news channel which covered the US elections for 3 days. It's 2024 surely it's easy to get a better entertainment system, reviews said how friendly the staff were. No genuine welcome on arrival or departure.

Great central location. Rooftop areas and a pool. Lovely breakfasts too and comfy beds, clean rooms. Would definitely stay here again.

First solo holiday and loved Monopol...|Transfer drops you off 2 mins walk from hotel, staff are lovely and polite.|Bedroom are huge, lovely view off the sea and pool from room 201.|Church bells are lovely to hear.|Breakfast is ample always find something to eat, they don't do any other meals but you can nip next door to Don Carlos, they take your order then will bring it to wherever you are sitting.|The pool isn't heated, but great size, they have a jacuzzi and sauna and a small gym.|I have no negatives to say as I just simply loved it, simple and quaint, this is the oldest hotel in Tenerife.|Visit to Lagos Martianez Pools is a must, Botanic Gardens are good, never done Loro Parque as was too hot for me to walk around.|Beds are comfiest I've ever been in when staying abroad but the only negative I have is in 4 days I stayed their my shower was always COLD.|Would I return? Yes 100% |Close to all restaurants, shops etc |Oh and Molly Malone's is a must (Irish Bar) 5 mins walk from hotel

Lovely old classic Spanish hacienda style hotel. Bang in Puerto town centre for walking access to many shops, restaurants and services. Good value and recommended.
