Hôtel Monsieur Cadet

The hotel doesn’t have any sound isolation. It is like you sleep in the streets. You can hear all the cars and people talking. The hotel also doesn’t have hot water if you want to take a shower in the morning and if you ask them to put your ice pack in the freezer it will end up in the fridge. The rooms need definitely a renovation because there are broken tiles etc . Definitely it is not worth 300€ per night. I don’t recommend it.

Location is great, hotel is intimate. We stayed one night but would stay again. The spa is huge plus and was very nice to enjoy. Book it in advance! This hotel is on a pedestrian street with a lovely area to sit and enjoy the bar on the ground floor. Our room was large, with a big hallway and lovely bathroom with a tub. The large windows made it romantic with a quiet courtyard. Bed was comfortable and lighting was nice in the room. The in room WiFi could be improved. Book on their website as the prices are sometimes more affordable.

Our group of 6 stayed here 4 nights on a business trip and can't recommend this hotel enough. It is like a quiet little respite in the heart of the city and the service is impeccable! Katya at the front desk was so kind and upgraded my husband and I's room after she saw how much luggage we had. She also assisted another member of our group who requested a street view and even arranged an early check-in after we arrived from our 7am flights. She really went above and beyond. Anca at breakfast was also wonderful - after our first breakfast she already had all of our drink orders memorized and sent us off with chocolates on our last day. Lea was also very helpful - arranging printing and laundry requests. Overall we all felt like we'd return to this hotel for work or personal visits again. It's in a great central location, the beds are comfortable, rooms are clean and cute, and the breakfast is delicious. The only thing I'd note - which other people have mentioned - is it is a central city hotel so it can be a little loud outside. I highly recommend using a white noise machine/sound app which helped easily take care of that concern!

Perfect location for our visit to Paris. Very comfortable bed and room. Stayed on the 6th floor and it was lovely. |Super cute area and street , very well mannered and kind staff .||Housekeeping could have been a bit better. Floors not cleaned every day. ||Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel , and area of Paris for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

The room was lovely and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Although I did not book breakfast there was plenty of choice and it smelt amazing! I will certainly stay here again.

Our stay at Monsieur Cadet was lovely! The hotel room was spacious (by Paris standards) and clean. What made our stay wonderful was the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. The Monsieur Cadet is conveniently located in the 9th Arrondissment, making it pretty central. We definitely recommend it!

Great location - walkable from the norther train stations. Easy access to Monmartre, Palais Garnier, covered streets & more. Good restaurants & wine bar just outside the hotel. Friendly staff & clean rooms!

Great location, delicious breakfast and comfortable rooms. Worthless hair dryers. I chose this hotel because it was well priced and within a mile radius walk of some of Paris' attractions. It exceeded my expectations for a few reasons: 1. Room was larger than thought it would be. The closet was full sized and even had a mini-bar and a safe. 2. Bathroom was also larger than expected. Shower head worked very well and warm water was readily available. 3. Breakfast was steal - eat as much as you want for reasonable price. Smoked salmon, madeleines, vegetables, fruit, yogurt, eggs, sausage, etc. 4. The front desk personnel were all very friendly and helpful. I even had some laundry done - same day service! 5. Shopping and dining options are within the same block. 6. We were in room furthest away from the street on the 5th floor and didn't hear anything other than our own thoughts. However my sister-in-law had a street facing room and found that the Parisians love to stay up late in the outdoor cafe seating and really enjoying using their 'outdoor voices'. 7. Room was sparkling clean and had all the regular amenities you'd expect from a hotel. I regret we did not have time to use the spa, so I don't have any comments on the cleanliness or level of service. One major annoyance to our stay was the hair dryer - completely worthless as a drying tool. You have to constantly hold a button to keep the dryer on (maybe purchased to avoid a fire hazard) and the one hot setting is very, very hot. My hand cramped from having to hold the button down.

Located in the heart of shopping and cafés, this boutique hotel welcomes you with warmth and exceptional hospitality. Every request we had - from finding medical assistance when I hurt my back, to the hotel director spending hours canceling other reservations and extending our stay even though they were completely filled, to special requests at breakfast, were all made with graciousness. Our spacious room was immaculate, and had two huge windows opening out to the street, which was lively with the happy sounds of Paris life. Wonderful in-hotel spa, including cosmetology, massage, and large steam room. Loved taking walk-in hot showers- our waterfall shower-head was a foot across, with a second hand held head if desired. The happy, smiling staff, wonderfully comfortable beds, immaculate table linens, silver and china, delicious breakfast variety all supported it's 4+ star rating, and were marks of this very fine, hospitable, and well-run hotel.
