The Best Ski and Spa Resorts for Après Relaxation | Condé Nast Traveler
"One of Europe’s most storied ski towns—and for good reason as it is home to Western Europe’s highest peak—Chamonix’s steep terrain is world-class and not for newbies. On the other hand, if navigating the mountain’s challenging slopes proves too much for jet-lagged travelers, at least respite can be found at Hotel Mont Blanc’s Spa by Clarins. Start your spa day in the outdoor hot tub or sauna, and from there ease into a Clarins facial which starts with a 25-minute massage. A personalized skin analysis and diagnosis means this is no one-size-fits-all treatment, though the common denominator is the use of pure plant extracts and high quality aromatic essential oils. We like the Power Hydrator best during ski season when dry cheeks are crying out for comfort."
Location is fantastic, breakfast is superb, but staff is what sets this hotel apart though. Everyone is very attentive and helpful. Food at hotel restaurant is also top notch. Pool area is super nice for kids. We will definitely be back.

Stayed for 2 nights, had junior suite. Room was beautiful, great views, soft drinks in the mini bar included. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, had the best breakfast so far on our French road trip, nice drinks in the bar. Hotel is very central, you pay for car parking, very reasonable. My only suggestion would be to give guests better instructions on how to access the car parking. Otherwise 5 star all around

Ideally located just off the main streets of Chamonix, this hotel falls short of it's five star rating. The rooms are very comfortable with good bedding (though they could invest in better pillows) and nicely appointed bathrooms/showers. The hotel in it's heyday was probably a five star hotel but it needs some investments, especially in the plumbing infrastructure and spa/gym/pool facilities. We reported this to the hotel staff (which were very gracious and attentive throughout our stay) but they couldn't do anything about it. There was a constant odor coming from the shower plumbing and also permeated the sauna which was inhabitable. They will need a major overhaul to fix what is probably a multi-month plumbing replacement. Also, the pool and spa can use an upgrade. Lastly, the concierge was outstanding in scheduling activities.

Beautiful hotel and excellent staff especially Marieke, the all-star concierge who set us up with many amazing activities. We stayed in the Junior Suite with balcony which was beautiful, spacious and looked out onto Mont Blanc. The hotel itself is less than a minute walk to the main downtown area, but somehow manages to feel like it’s in its own neighborhood. Also the cookie dessert at the restaurant is out of this world.

The Hotel Mont Blanc in Chamonix is an absolute delight. Small but very much has the wow factor.||Beautiful decor throughout and a wonderful relaxing atmosphere. We arrived for a long weekend of skiing and chose the hotel for its excellent location. Situated right in the town , with access to everything , including a 2 mins walk to the Savoy nursery slopes and access to the main Gondola for easy access to the main ski areas. Hotel also has boot lockers for your ski gear.||With beautiful bedrooms, which were extremely well serviced and cleaned to the highest standard, little touches , which make all the difference , including free of charge fruit juices in the room mini bar and bottled water . It really felt like home from home.||The Hotel also has a great bar area where they serve bar food and in addition an Al Al carte restaurant if you want something more fancy. Great breakfast catering for all tastes from hot stuff to continental.||The hotel also has the added bonus of a heated outdoor pool - jacuzzi and Clinique Spa. I had two treatments during my stay and found the prices to be very reasonable. I would book online prior to your arrival , as the spa is small and can get booked up.||Staff at Mont Blanc were helpful and always on hand to assist. Big thanks to staff for making our stay so wonderful.
