The location of this place is very good five minutes to the beach then staff are friendly. Their breakfast are very good for us which we don’t eat the meat so it was perfect compared to other French people we attend. The staff are very friendly and helpful. this hotel is really recently remodeled everything looks new so far everything is good

TL;DR: not suitable for families, bad smells, unprofessional, yet priced as four-star.||In long: the rooms have a strong smell of some cheap artificial freshener and the sauna is moldy. The pool is officially unavailable for much of the day and off-limits to children — unless you pay to use it. The front desk staff have a strangely blasé attitude, at times rude, even breathtakingly rude — which is baffling given the price of the hotel and its rating. On the other hand, the restaurant staff are lovely. In the end, we migrated (despite lack of a refund) to the Juliana Hotel, which turned out to be very nice, as it happens.

Upon arrival, I was told my room wasn’t ready, which I understood since check-in is officially at 3 PM. I was then informed that the room would be ready by 2 PM, which seemed fine. We had booked three rooms in total, and I was the first to arrive. I asked if none of the rooms were ready yet, and the answer was no, all three were still unavailable. However, when my travel companions arrived later, before the official check-in time, they were immediately given their rooms. Meanwhile, I had been waiting for almost 3 hours already, without any courtesy or effort to make me feel welcome. The staff showed no understanding and were not friendly at all. Overall, very poor service and a lack of hospitality. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!!!!

This was THE WORST HOTEL IVE EVER STAYED AT. Our AC did not work at all and there was no one to help because no concierge at night. I stayed up all night tossing and turning. It is an absolute shame they call this a 4 star hotel. It’s definitely a 1 star

When in Cannes, don’t look any further! Location is brilliant, staff is courteous, hotel is modern and with lots of amenities! Great stay 🫶

Never experienced anything like this; even a cheap highway hotel provides a duvet for each person without issues. Created an account just to post this review.||We booked for 3 adults, but upon arrival, there were only 2 duvets/blankets in our room.||We went out for dinner and stopped by the reception to request a third duvet. The staff were initially apologetic and assured us that a third duvet would be in our room upon our return.||However, when we came back around 10-11 PM, there was still no third duvet, nor did we receive any message regarding it.||Calling reception from our room, the receptionist informed us, "We don't have more duvets available." I responded, "What do you mean you have no duvets?" (Considering this is a 4-star hotel with many rooms). He then said, "Call back tomorrow." This made no sense since we had only booked for one night, and it was January— pretty cold. After arguing back and forth, he finally said, "Come down to the reception." So I got dressed again (they didnt even bother coming up), he handed me an empty duvet cover and said it's the best he could do. Didn't even apologize. I was then freezing all night.||Absolutely ridiculous service for a 4-star hotel.

Overall, we had a great stay at the hotel in Cannes! The location was fantastic, just a short walk to everything. The room itself was really nice and clean, with a modern bathroom. The gym was a bit small, but we loved that it was open 24/7. They also had a beautiful spa, although we didn't get a chance to use it. The staff were helpful, especially when they mixed up our reservation and didn't have our parking spot ready. They found a solution right away, which we appreciated. There were a couple of downsides. The air conditioning was quite loud and couldn't be turned down very low, so we had to switch it off at night to sleep. Also, the elevator could be slow sometimes, but I guess that's unavoidable in a busy hotel. The breakfast was a bit expensive for what we were looking for, so we just grabbed coffee and pastries from a nearby coffee shop instead.

Room 3/5: The room was nothing spectacular and it was kept clean, the first few days the air conditioning made the room quite humid so I was forced to turn it off. Service 4/5: Service was good even if not everyone in the structure was polite, although there was a young girl bar tending some nights, Chirine I think, that showed an amazing work ethic and that stayed late at the job even when her shift was done, just to help out. Location 5/5: The hotel is an 8 min walk form the city center.

Yelp
Literally the worst spa experience I've ever had in my life. But before getting into that first of all the hotel is terrible and misleading. They claim it's 4 stars, it is NOT. The room is falling apart. Photos attached. They advertise four stars, but it is nowhere near this. This hotel is a complete and utter rip off and staying here was a massive mistake. Overpriced and terrible experience. Walking by the train station to get here at night feels like I'm in a rough neighborhood as opposed to staying in Cannes! Disgusting paper cups and Nescafé in the room. They can't even afford proper coffee cups? Don't forget the super choppy and unreliable WiFi. The lamp stands are broken and overall it's as though I landed in a motel in some janky city. Did I mention the door is jammed and I have to push with all my force to get it open. The blowdryer barely functions and is some cheap built in wall thing so a bad hair day basically every day here. I then stupidly also made the mistake to try out their spa as I did come here to relax. First of all the caliber of women working at the spa is well below subpar. They are trashy and rude. The first time in my life, I was ever forced to make a payment at a spa in advance of any service received, and that ate into my massage time. I went to take a shower after the massage and I was kicked out of the shower because they said they had another guest. How exactly am I supposed to leave covered in oil? Do NOT come to this hotel, and definitely do not come to this spa. This hotel is at best misleading and no more than 2 stars. I am giving one star because of the terrible service received in the spa. Also, forget any concierge services here. You're on your own to plan your time. Never will I be back and I hope this review keeps you from staying. Unless €20/night not worth it.

Yelp
We stayed here in late June and it was like staying at Fawlty Towers - and not in a good way. This is a hotel to avoid. The only reason to stay here is if you want to be within a 15 minute walk to the restaurants and the beach - but I am sure there are better alternatives. Complaint #1: They gave our room keys to a bunch of new arrivals. From what I could tell they do not have a computer system to keep track of which rooms are occupied. Otherwise, they might have noticed that a) we hadn't checked out, b) we still had an unpaid tab on the room, and c) the room was configured with a king-sized bed which might not have been the best choice for a group of teenagers apparently on some school trip. When I complained to the guy who said he was the manager he reluctantly mumbled a barely audible "sorry" and blamed me for not reporting this when it happened (as opposed to a few hours later when we were checking out) - as if that would have made any difference. Subsequently we received a letter from the general manager saying he was sorry and blaming "human error" - as opposed, I guess, to computer failure or weather. Complaint #2: Their WiFi is useless. It was non-functional about 90-95% of the 3 days we were there. I overheard many guests complaining about this at the front desk and they were all told gibberish about how the problem was in the guests' firewall configuration. (See the theme here about blaming the guest.) I was sometimes able to get apps to work when their browser counterparts would not - so I suspect they hotel's firewall was not configured correctly. Complaint #3: Pack water shoes! The shower is enclosed by only a small glass wall so it threw water all over the marble bathroom floor - and we did not use the horizontal jets that would have made matters much worse. We had several near falls due to the incredibly slippery floor. Others in our tour group had the same complaint.
